**The Wizards made a good move in dealing for Antawn Jamison, who will balance out a roster that was too guard-heavy last season. Jamison should score 20 points each night, and with guards Gilbert Arenas and Larry Hughes, Washington has a talented threesome of scorers.
Still, Washington has a long way to go. There isn't much in the way of frontcourt presence, where Etan Thomas and Brendan Haywood are still developing. Looks like another year in the lottery for coach Eddie Jordan's club. (Steve Kerr on the Wiz upcoming season) ***

This guy is an idiot, look at the teams he put ahead of us....Boston, Orlando, Chicago??? Are you kidding me?

I guess Kerr is not familiar with Kwame Brown either, in his analysis of the Wiz's frontcourt game. Whether Kwame will be motivated to answer his critics or cash in as a free agent, he should have his best year yet as a pro. They also added a 7footer in John Ramos and Samaki Walker for some vet experience and hard fouls.

I don't agree with most of Kerr's predictions either but wanna share why it is that you think Boston doesn't belong in front of Washington?

As bad as the Celtics were last year, they still won 11 more games than Washington and made the playoffs.

The Celtics have several impact rookies, a healthy LaFrentz and they actually have a Coach this season.

I wouldn't consider the C's a push over for anyone, whether GP reports or not.

Although everyone else is dismissing the C's, so I don't know why Washington fans would be any different.

If I were you, I'd have been more offended that he placed the decimated NETS in front of Washington.

Umm..wow, Where is Kwame? I think that he will average atleast 15 a game because it is a contract year for him and I think he will be looking to shut his critics up. I also think that Haywood is very under appreciated in Washington, he is a 7 foot center who will bang downlow..we need that, very rare now a days. I think Washington will be contending for the 7th or 8th seed and shouldnt be overlooked.

I talked on this on another forum, but he doesn't even mention Kwame, whether good or bad, you have to mention Kwame.

Also doesn't he realize Arenas, Hughes and Stackhouse were injured? I mean how can he expect the team to do worse than last season.

Then he talks about the frontcourt being weak, if the Raptors had Haywood, Bosh and Etan, I'd pee my pants. The Wizards have Haywood, Kwame, and Etan, and he says their isn't much frontcourt presence?

Steve Kerr lost all of his little basketball credit when he released his pre-season thoughts. I don't even have to read what he wrote to know that it is most likely far from the truth. Steve I love ya and all, but stick to shooting threes in old-timers games.

Your right , I forgot to put the Nets there, that does offend me more.

The reason I added Boston there mainly is because they went through quite a few changes this off season. I know it usually takes time for a team to develop chemistry especially with a new coach. You did get some good rookies but I'm just not big on counting on rooks to make a big impact. Don't get me wrong, I won't dismiss them completely, I actually like the Celts (except for McCarty because he always kills us when we play you guys), I just feel like we finally have a stronger team this year.
