Umm, the Eagels havent won a Super Bowl in a LOOOONG time. Look instead of Miami focusing directly on a runningback now, why arent they focused on offensive lineman? Sure Westbrook is good, because he has an awesome offensive line. Miami's offensive line needs to go back to pee-wee football. If Miami can get a good line this coming year, even Sammy Morris would be just fine to run with.
DolFan, I'm sure BearsFan1 knows this. This is just his ongoing quest to give Eagle's fans a hard time.

Eagles fans SHOULD have a hard time...they are THE BEST team in the NFL, and when they reached the NFC Championship for the past 3 years, they lost...this time they finally made it, and lost to the Patriots because of a few stupid mistakes. The Eagles should have won that, if they didnt make those few mistakes, they wouldve won. But being a hardcore Dolphins fan, i KNOW the Eagles are best team out there.....i would rather play the Patriots than play the Eagles.

well thanks everyone i was reading NFL.com, and wow....it looks like there are many good free agents out there. Jeff Garcia was released, Drew Bledsoe was released, then u got tons of good offensive lineman and everything. But i dont see why Buffalo would release Drew Bledsoe, because now they have JP Losman who really....isnt too good. Maybe Miami should pick up Bledsoe?
a lot of those got cut for a reason....the Bills didnt cut Bledsoe because of the cap(although it saves them money)....they cut him to clear the way for Losman....hes tainted goods at best....Im not saying he wont be successful(in Dallas), but its not likely he will be a star again....Garcia is a good QB for the West Coast offense, he cant go downfield, he'd be a perfect fit as the backup in Philly or Detroit, or even Atlanta....
have any of u heard rumors, or flat out heard ANYTHING about Miami wanting to sign any good offensive lineman??
i just read the Florida Sun-Sentinel page, and it said Miami may cut Arturo Freeman, Patrick Surtain, Tim Bowens, Junior Seau, and Damien McIntosh...What on EARTH is Miami doing to itself?? Tim Bowens, Junior Seau, Surtain, and Freeman are basically what make Miami a good defense, besides Thomas and Taylor. If they get rid of those guys, then their defense will be as bad as their offense! Also, Marshall Faulk is going to be a back-up next season. Is it possible some teams may try to sign Marshall Faulk? Is it possible MIAMI may try to sign him??
Faulk is actually excited to stay and help groom Steven Jackson..I must say Jackson is a lucky man and if he doesn't soak in everything faulk has for him well he would be stupid.
Dolfan....they are $17 million over the cap for next year, that means they have to cut people....It may mean they have to cut or trade so much talent that they need to start over....but, consider, that with all those guys, they won 4 games, so I think they are starting over anyway....Surtain wants huge money they cant afford, so you trade him to someone that can(indy comes to mind)....Seau has been invited back at a greatly reduced salary, its up to him to make the decision....Fiedler is gone....Tim Bowens is old as hell and will likely retire anyway....Freeman has a large cap number he isnt likely to agree to reduce, so he will go too....its part of the NFL, you keep a team togehter to make a run, they did that and they fell short, now its time to blow it up and start over....
