raptors forum game meet!?

had this idea the other day...figured id post it up and see what everyone thinks

we could all put money into a paypal account that could be managed by someone trust worthy...maybe a site admin...someone like dre. then he could purchase a bulk of tickets all in the same section, all together. we could all meet up, go to the game together, then go to east side marios or whatever for a drink after the game.

just a quick thrown together idea...possibly other ways to do it...but what does everyone think? just puttin it out there for now

 

Sounds a little dangerous to me, you never know who you're going to meet, could be a psycho, but still sounds like it would be a good idea, considering that's probably not the case.

i think the only people that would be interested are the forum regulars. im pretty sure most of us are young people who just love the raps.

i dont think there is anything to worry about.

 

Good idea, I haven't relalylooked @ the schedule, but what about a Sunday noon game like they had a couple of time last year? That would bring in a bigger group(albeit younger).

exactly man. whats going to happen anyways? there will be a group of us if it happens. besides...iv been studying jeet kun do for about 12 yrs so ill work anyone who steps LOL!

those of us who are regulars in here kinda know each other anyways in a wierd kinda way. i dont think any of us are psycho. cept maybe Franchise...i wonder bout that guy sometimes

but yea...a sunday noon game would be a good one. it'd be cool to put some faces to all the names

 

sounds awesome. i think i could make it except for the fact that i live in the US. could you guys like purchase me a ticket and a hotel room in toronto or somethin? hah...i wish...

 

Would be nice...Hopefully I don't get school work on the day of the game if this ever happens.

what i was thinkin...i work on sundays (for example) and we could just schedule the day far enough in advance so those of us who work could book it off in advance :thumbsup:

 

Interesting, but crazy idea. I'm not going to use up $60 (or whatever the cost is) for a stranger to manage.

im just throwin the idea out there. no need to be snotty. if your interested, why dont you come up with a better idea instead of rolling your eyes at mine. im not even saying that my idea is good...there are probably better solutions to come up with, im just putting the idea out there for now to see if there is interest.

and if your not interested, then dont bother opening the thread. simple like that

DAmn dude. I was just in London yesterday and today partying it up like a mad man. Homecoming in London is such a sweet thing......

 

heh i m only 14, i would be interested since it would be my FIRST EVER time watching raptors play live at acc :/ but my parents prob won't let me or won't like me going out with random strangers for 60 bucks...lol...also would be awkward wouldn't it? ...at least i would think so ...but sounds like a good idea ...

 

I live in NB. I usually only make it to TO a couple of times a season for a game. But it's a good idea DJ. Could be fun.

I'd like to be a part of this if it ever happened, meeting the people you interact with everyday will be very fun and exciting. But why not we just rent out a whole gym and play some bball instead of watching a Raptors game? I'm pretty sure most of us are underage for a "drink" anyways.
