interesting read in spots... he makes some fairly good points in a lot of places with a few questionable calls... (sorry, but I cant count loosing Gerrold Wallace as a "significant loss")

but before the anguish starts, keep in mind this is a ranking of off season moves, not predictions on where they will place in the season

Well, to speak for the Lakers, I'd say that our only loss was Derek Fisher. I actually liked the trade for Shaq.

I liked what he had to say about the Lakers... its pretty much been the most balanced thing I have seen about it in a while

I think they may be closer to the cliff than most others think, but they can easily keep themselves from going over the edge.

I want to know what people think about these line-ups.

    Nash/Terry
    Quis'/Howard
    Finley/Stackhouse
    Dirk/Henderson
    Booth/Bradley/PPod

Strong in the PG position, practically garabage in the C.

    or

    Terry/Harris/Dickau
    Quis'/Howard
    Finley/Stackhouse
    Dirk/Henderson
    Dampier/Booth/DJ/Bradley/PPod

Stong in the PG position, Strong in the C position.

Did we mess-up by taking Devin Harris?

Or maybe we could of gone for a Center for that 5th pick right? Well to bad there were no damn Centers. We had to pick between playing our high powered offense that every one loves to watch up until the first round of the playoffs, or get with the times and start to play with a real big man. He leaves out Jason Terry as a significant aquisition, I guess this guy is just horrible and will never be able to play the point position, although averaging close to six assists last season and over seven before that. Then he asks a question, "will they help" and that was his whole argument on why we F----- up in the offseason.

    Samoan-Mavericks S--- List
    -Ric Bucher
    -Dave Aldridge

In my opinion, the difference between Booth and Dampier is much much smaller than the difference between Nash and Terry. I could be wrong, but hey, having big years for bad teams doesn't impress me.

Well when you consider that Jason Terry dropped 45 on Nash for the W, I guess it's not that big of a difference. I've never seen Calvin Boothe in a game so I consider him a nothin'.

That was one game, which may be enough to convince you, but not me. <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">I've never seen Calvin Boothe in a game so I consider him a nothin'.</div>Well, that just shows how illogical someone can be when trying to justify a point to themselves.
