<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Bosnian:</div><div class="quote_post">I think I might get FIrst its a killer team what you people think</div> It looks pretty good. I think you have a very good chance at being first. Assuming you've got standard scoring categories, You're sure to be very high in assists, scoring, and pretty good in threes, rebounds, fg, and steals. You might have a lot of turnovers, though, and Nene's numbers will depend on Camby and Martin. I'd also start Daniels over Mason since Mason is mostly for scoring, while I expect Daniels to contribute to multiple categories and still provide some scoring.
Here's my team and it's a 20 man league, so that made the draft pretty hard. PG S. Cassell (Min - PG) SG L. Hughes (Was - SG) G J. Stackhouse (Dal - GF) SF K. Van Horn (Mil - SF) PF S. Dalembert (Phi - FC) F J. Howard (Dal - GF) C V. Divac (LAL - C) C J. Voskuhl (Pho - C) Util K. Hinrich (Chi - PG) Util J. Welsch (Bos - GF) BN M. Rose (SA - F) BN E. Williams (NJ - GF) BN B. Hunter (Cha - PF) And here's my 12 man public league.... PG K. Hinrich (Chi - PG) SG P. Pierce (Bos - SG) G R. Hamilton (Det - SG) SF R. Artest (Ind - SF) PF J. O'Neal (Ind - PF) F R. Wallace (Det - FC) C E. Curry (Chi - C) C Ja. Collins (NJ - C) Util G. Wallace (Cha - SF) Util J. Tinsley (Ind - PG) BN D. Gooden (Cle - F) BN J. McInnis (Cle - SG) BN A. Jefferson (Bos - PF) What do guys think....
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting petitt33:</div><div class="quote_post">What do guys think....</div> Well, for the 20 man league, that looks like a pretty good draft. I have a 14 man league (with 15 players, and fewer bench players instead of 13) and your team looks better than mine overall. I'd try to trade Stack or Howard for a equivalent tier C, but otherwise, you're probably pretty good on a league that deep. I don't think your team necessary needs any changes, but if you're looking for some players, here are some super-sleepers (they could sleep through the whole season), in order of how much value they have (you're always scraping down here, and some of these guys are still in battles for a rotation spot): F Andres Nocioni (most likely to be taken, but at rank 387 people miss sometimes) C Brendan Haywood (value all over the place) PG Mike James (starter in place of injured Ford) PF Mike Sweetney (rumors of starting with Kurt Thomas) C Predrag Drobnjak (either Collier or Drobnjak is going to start for Atl; but a real longshot) PG Earl Watson (managed 20 minutes a game last season with 5.0 assists, though no guarantee of more minutes, good 1-cat insurance) PG Jason Hart (starter on the Bobcats, but numbers expected to be less than spectacular) PG Kenny Anderson (could start for Hawks, but way past his prime) For your public league team, that looks great. I would start Gooden over Collins though (putting R.Wallace at C, G.Wallace at F, and Gooden at util.) Gooden averaged more blocks, rebounds, and points, and thus is a better option than Collins.
Thanks for the stuff, Zhone. Drobnjak and Hart are both still there, so I may just have to pick one of them, or maybe even both.
This is my first year and am playing in an 18 team league with the 9th pick and 11 players for each team. What kinda league is the usual because I see you all have more players than me. Anyway tonight was my draft and I think I may need to get rid of some people but... G R. Hamilton (Det - SG) G R. Murray (Sea - SG) F J. O'Neal (Ind - PF) F Z. Randolph (Por - PF) C J. Magloire (NO - C) Util P. Brezec (Cha - C) BN J. Hayes (Was - SF) BN N. Van Exel (Por - PG) BN B. Jackson (Sac - PG) BN R. Butler (Mia - GF) BN J. White (Cha - C) Overall I'm pretty happy. Oh yeah, mines a five category head-to-head.
Interesting team/league, Fletcher. That's a small number of active players. The only problem with that team is that you're risking assists every matchup. On the other hand, you're a sure thing for rebounds. Everything else is kind of a wash, depending on other people's picks.
Thanks, I'll get on that. OK, so I got on that assists problem and have now had a trade excepted that is Hamilton and Van Exel for A. Miller and Nelson. Thoughts?

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Fletcher:</div><div class="quote_post">OK, so I got on that assists problem and have now had a trade excepted that is Hamilton and Van Exel for A. Miller and Nelson. Thoughts?</div> Depends on what sort of minutes Van Exel gets in Portland, because I can't see Nelson seeing enough time, with Franchise and Mobley, to make a big fantasy impact.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Fletcher:</div><div class="quote_post">OK, so I got on that assists problem and have now had a trade excepted that is Hamilton and Van Exel for A. Miller and Nelson. Thoughts?</div> I think that is a great trade. Hamilton is a good player, but almost all he's good for is points and FG%. Miller, on the other hand, comes with a fair scoring average (about 15 a game) with a ton of assists and actually shoots a good % as well. I think Van Exel for Nelson is a non-factor into the decision. Both are really unproven for this season, and either could be a stud or a dud.
Well here's mine, maybe I can get more opinions. 12 man league. PG - Steve Francis SG - Desmond Mason G - Stephen Jackson SF - Antawn Jamison PF - Dirk Nowitzki C - Theo Ratliff Util - Cuttino Mobley Util - Quentin Richardson BN - Joe Smith BN - Troy Murphy BN - Rafer Alston BN - Ricky Davis
got 4th pick in 12 man league. PG S. Nash (Pho - PG) SG J. Richardson (GS - SG) G V. Carter (Tor - GF) SF A. Jamison (Was - F) PF T. Duncan (SA - FC) F D. Howard (Orl - PF) C N. Now I've got another problem. J. O'Neal is out for possibly a couple weeks. I know it's not something that is trade worthy but I was just thinking about it and thought of a trade that could possibly be very good for me. Kirilenko and Dampier for Magloire and J. O'Neal. ?
Heres my roster for the yahoo fantasy league. got 2nd pick. K. Garnett S. Francis G. Arenas R. Jeffereson R. Lewis Chris Bosh Kurt Thomas Gerald Wallace lary Hughes Stromile Swift Rafer Alston Primoz Brezec Jeff Foster

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting ballin_boy:</div><div class="quote_post">^^jason's injured right now BTW. </div> I realize that, but I am not going to drop Kidd. I still have Nash and Parker to use for now. Besides, since you can only use each player a certain number of times once Kidd is back I'll be able to use him as much as I want for the rest of the season.
