If Sasha was a girl, then that would surprise me. I was knew him as a Sasha when reading his posts, because I knew a few people with the name Sasha that are guys.
my fault sasha if you already explained this but you have six pages in this thread. ok how do you make the effect that knick has on his background that hard cube like effect?

Yeah, I am a guy, and yeah it is a bit weird for a guy to have such a feminine name here in the States. Though, I'm from a different country, and over there it's cool, not entirely normal as is John, or Bob here but more like a Jeremiah or something. Also Sasha Vujacic (LA Lakers rookie has the same name, so do some Olympians, and other well known people). <div class="quote_poster">Quoting Quickness:</div><div class="quote_post">ok how do you make the effect that knick has on his background that hard cube like effect?</div> Show me the image...
Sasha he means the grungy effect knicks makes when making his backgrounds(i think). Anyway I have a question again Sasha. I've been wanting to try out the pen tool for awhile now but I have no idea what it's used for other than shapes. Can you give me an explanation on what it's for?
You don't use the pen tool to cut out your players? That's the only way I can seperate them from their backgrounds - using the eraser is way too hard and takes too long. Or, did I misunderstand your question?

The pen tool is just a tool like a pencil, it gives you the creativity to create anything. Just hit up some tuts on it first off, but don't just do it because everyone at WCR is doing it, do your own thing.

I have the hardest Q ever..How the hell do you put a border on something in Adobe PS 7.0 ...Im new to Adobe its not my programme at all.
Hey Sasha, I'm sure you hear this all the time... but you do very, very nice work. I tried out saving my file as a .PNG and I think it has the best quality out of all the file formats. Does it have its disadvantages and are we allowed to use them on JBB? Thanks for your time.

Thanks for your time.</div> Thank you for the kind words! .PNG files are most commonly used as a substitute for .GIF files which are files for transparent images. .JPEG files are the most commonly used files on the WWW, and take up less space. As for .PNG files having any disadvantages, there is mainly one. Internet Explorer does not recognize .PNG files as transparent files as it does with .GIF files, but other browsers like Opera and Firefox do, so try to shy away from Internet Explorer. Internet Explorer leaves a background color of light grey in place of where the graphics is supposed to be transparent. Notice how the smiley to the left has no background color, as it is transparent. It is a .GIF file which is the same as a .PNG file but at times more rugged. If it were to be .PNG file and if it were to be viewed in Internet Explorer, it would show spots of gray around it's corners. Also, yes we are allowed to use .PNG files on JBB. To my knowledge we are allowed to use the most commonly used files on web, such as .JPG's, .JPEG's, .BMP's, .GIF's, and .PNG's.
Sasha, how do you do color blending like a lot of designers do? Kinda like some of your and TimFlem's work. Thanks.
It's me again Sasha Something is totally wrong with my PS. Most of my filters that normally be there aren't. For example renders are gone, extract are gone sketch, and distort are gone along with several others. WHat shall I do or what can I do to fix this problem? Like none of the filters are there and I need to know how to get them back basicly.
hey sup how do you guys get good fonts onto adobe photoshop and stuff, when i try it just doesnt work?
Well, first download them, (I suggest Da Font) go to control panel, click on fonts, and put the downloaded fonts there
How can I put borders around avatars? You can see what I did with the one I have now, but I'd like to put a 1-line border around it. How can I do that? Thanks Sasha.
