Ostertag Expected to miss 4-6 weeks

    What a start to the season! For those of you who were glad that Vlade was traded after he got injured in practise you got what you were asking for.

    Ostertag could be a good bench player for the Kings off the bench, but this wont help. Over the last few seasons he has done a good job of staying injury free for a big man, so the Kings had an bad break here. Upon his return, his size and presence on defense will be welcomed by the Kings.

    Hopefully he'll be ready before the season begins..Is there a 3rd string center in the lineup? Kings may probably need to hunt for Keon Clark as a backup.

    what a dork... he tripped over a box in his house...... [​IMG] Im not even that clumsy...

    Greg, if you are reading this: just do what Alzedo used to do.. make a cast that resembles a HUGE club & try to block shots with it....

    Not a big deal.

    It looks like he'll only miss the first 2-3 weeks of the season, and you don't have to worry about him coming back from injury and having his play effected, because, let's just say- it's not his shooting that we need him for.
