Let us start the debate on if he is a HOF Yards: 39808 Tds : 221 Int : 181 Rating 76.7 Let the games begin
He's in the top 20 of all time great QBs. Eh........maybe top 30. Yeah i'll go with top 30. That's my final answer.

He has not done enough to go to the HOF, number's are not bad, but the rating is kind of low. I would put Cunningham in the HOF before him. But I dont think either guys makes, same for Testiesverde. With the passing numbers now a days, numbers alone are not good enough. You need a Super Bowl ring to go with them, or be like Dan Marino, whose #'s are so good it's scary.
1st off, Testeverde is going to the HOF, he is 6th all time in passing yards Lets compare Bledsoe, and Cunningham Cunninghams stats Yards 29979 Tds 207 int 137 rating 81.5 He also had 4928 yards rushing(bledsoe has 600) and 35 tds (bledsoe has 6) Cunningham vs Bledsoe in stats, fairly even except for the extra 5000 yards bledsoe has. In playoffs, bledsoe lead his team to super bowl, cunningham failed to ever reach the big game. Tiebreaker for eagles fans only: Cunningham played for eagles so he is better.
Testeverde else has below 500 winning percentage in his career. I guarantee you that he WILL NOT be in the HOF. Cunningham revolutionized the way a QB can play the game, in his prime he was what Vick is today and much more. I also believe he was a 2-time MVP. And I said, that I dont think he will make the HOF either. Either Bledsoe and Testies and Cunningham are not good enough for HOF. being 6th in passing yards means nothing, all it says that you played for a long time. Cunnigham atleast has the most rushing yards for a QB ever (that No 1 BF1 not 6, can you count???)

He is ranked where in rushing yards among players? not #1. Where is he ranked in passing yards? not top 20 Where is he ranked in combined yards? not top 25 How did he revolutionize the position? Did a whole bunch of mobile QBs take over the league and win title after title? that is revolutionary, it changes the way the games and seasons are decided, not in creating hype among the media. I am not going to say that he doesnt deserve in the HOF. I think he probably does, in that he has very good numbers. Are they as good or better than bledsoe? not really. They are remarkably close. As for the only thing that being 6th all in passing yards only proves you played a long time. HORSESHIT!! Most of his career there were 28-30 teams in the league. which means during that same era, there were 28-30 starting QBs in the entire league, and he was always good enough to be one of them. Since he was starting every year for a long period of time, and producing at a rate better than all QB in NFL history other than Marino, Farve, Fouts, Elway, and Tarkenton, i think he probably warrants a trip to the hall of fame. The 3 people on the list who played basically a equal time, produced basically equal yardage numbers, if you are holding par with, farve, marino, and elway, you are a HOFer. Winning % is BS. He was in F-ing tampa, when tampa did not know how to win to save itself. He proved he was a winner, in NY. Just because, cunningham had one of the top 3 defenses in the league backing him up in philly when he played, which made his winning % higher does not mean he was the reason.

I bet, if I started out saying that Bledsoe and Testies shoud be in the HOF, you would be here arguing with me, and saying how Testies is a not a great QB, and how he does not deserve to be there. Dude, he was average most of his career, had ONE good year for the Jets. Sure he threw a lot of yards, but he never won anything. Like I said, unless you have 61,000 yards and over 400 TD's, being a loser does not get you in the HOF. Unless you brought something else to the table, like Cunningham who led all QB's in career rushing yards.
I don't think Testaverde is a hall of famer. Yes, he's piled up a lot of passing yards over the years, but he has just as many interceptions as touchdowns, his winning percentage is terrible, his passer rating is average, his career completion percentage is barely over 50% and statistically he's not top 20 in any other passing category. He had a solid NFL career, but I don't see him as Hall Worthy. As for Bledsoe, he's not hall worthy either. He's actually got a ton of passing records and he bested 10 of Jim Kelly's Bills team records since he arrived in Buffalo. He's only 33 years old. Given the fact that Gannon's playing at 41, Bledsoe still has time to get it done...
Its interesting that only certain people think that....they are the same people that post dumb things and have BF1 jump them....dont spew ignorance and you wont have it packed back into your face....
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Pack Attack)</div><div class='quotemain'>his career completion percentage is barely over 50% and statistically he's not top 20 in any other passing category</div> His career completion % is 56.6 %....he would have to miss his next 842 passes to fall below 50%....your above statement is just not true.... Hes also 6th in attempts, completions, yards and 8th in TDs passes, all well inside the top 20.... His career numbers warrent consideration: 3631 of 6420....56.6%....44475 yards....268 TDS....255 INTs He lead a team to within a game of the Super Bowl.... All in all, I would say he should be in, especially after seeing some of the other QBs that are in(like Namath)....

I dont think most of the people are here are dumb, just those who cant understand how wrong and ignorant they are.
I just dont think that Testeverde belongs in the HOF. Bledsoe might get in, if he has couple more 4000+ yard seasons and a Super Bowl appearance. Remember, HOF is a very select group of people. Has Testeverde ever in his career been considered the best QB in the league?? Just look at the two guys that just got in(Marino, Young), both of them are considered in the top 10 of QB's of all time, in any conversation. Very rarely (more like never) do you hear Testeverdies name. He was a decent QB, had a couple of really good seasons, but nothing special. He did nothing to change the game, and I just dont see how he could get in. Look at Monk, he was at the top of alot of statistics at the WR position when he retired, and he still cant get in. His TD/INT ratio is almost ONE, that is freaking horrible. I know you are going to mention Namath, and I know his stats are bad too. However, when you think back to 1960's NFL, Namath's guaranteeing a win and then holding the finger up defined an Era. That is why he's in the HOF. Same with Lynn Swann. It's not all about stats, it's about contribution to the game. Testies has done NOTHING for the NFL, and that is why it will be extremely hard for him to get in.
If you dont share the opinion of another person BF1 then yes to you it would be dumb, ignorant or wrong. That doesnt make the person wrong to everyone. I'm sure some things you find wrong others dont. Just because you think they're wrong doesnt make them wrong. You are one person, theres many with different views than yours so get used to it. Opinions are neither wrong or right, they are just that opinions not facts.

Glad you said this is not wrong(you claimed it is not right also, but i can live with that as it is not wrong either) Michael Vick died in a car accident while raping a girl with his brother. The moon is made out of green cheese. I invented gravity. You are right opinions cant be wrong or right, i certainly could not list any opinions of mine that were wrong.
