the one in your avatar, the one where he dunks it over duncan pushing duncans hand out of the way. i used to have that as my signature it was a great dunk, also the dunk over yao a couple seasons ago was good.
<font color="Red">Well I posted this in the Best Dunk Ever thread:</font> <div class="quote_poster">Quoting alcstarheel:</div><div class="quote_post"><font color="red">I'd have to say my favorite dunk was Kobe in that 1997 Pre-Season game at UNLV. Cross right to left, leave man in the dust (literally), jump from the dotted lines and slam it on who........... Big Ben Wallace! I jumped up and down when I saw that. ALCS</font></div>
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Zane:</div><div class="quote_post">mine is the baseline windmill over Garnett and nestarovich two seasons ago... whats yours</div> Yeah, that was a sweet one. MY favorite would possibly the dunk he did on a Negget player that one year, when he did a behind the back 360 dunk on him.
There was one in Phoenix, during the 2002-2003 season, where Derek Fisher received a pass at halfcourt (I believe it was Fisher) and then he threw a quick one to Kobe at around the elbow, and with Shaq also downcourt (don't ask how that happened), Kobe went up and brought the ball back with one hand, and then did a nasty tomahawk. It was off the hook...and what made it look so good was that he brought it back slow, but then threw it down fast and with alot of force. That was the #1 dunk NOT on a player. As far as dunking on someone, he slammed one in Sprewell's face that same year that was pretty bad, from the baseline...just kinda floated under the rim and suddenly threw it down. It almost looked like it was going to be a layup, but the ball quickly rose above the rim and he embarassed Latrell.
The one against the Knicks around the backcourt, Posterization of Yao, and he behind the back dribble dunk on the Nuggets
THe posterization of Yao when Kobe was hurt and played like 50+ minutes that game since it went into overtime. Yao's gotten posterized more than Earl Boykins probably since Earl doesnt guard people under the basket lol
There was an alley-oop that he caught in the All-Star game in 1998-1999 (or the year after) from Kevin Garnett...and he barely caught the ball using his fingertips, and with his back arched, he slammed it home with Grant Hill and Gary Payton looking on.

At any rate, my fav Kobe dunk is probably that Brian Shaw lob that was off the mark, but Kobe caught it at the other side of the rim and turned around and slammed it...It was against the 76ers and was 2000-2001 play of the year...

mine is Kobe's preseason dunk on Ben Wallace in 1997, and the one off an alley from Van Exel during his rookie season vs. Pistons (does anyone remember this, I think G. Hill scored 34 pts in Piston OT victory)...
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Zane:</div><div class="quote_post">mine is the baseline windmill over Garnett and nestarovich two seasons ago... whats yours</div> Same here. Though I remember getting real pumped up when he drove past Hornacek and threw it down on Ostertag in the 98 playoffs.
Mine is the the Kobe-Shaq give and go against Indiana. Kobe passes Shaq at the post, cuts baseline, recives the ball back. Then it looks like he goes up for a normal 2 handed dunk, but instead, he pulls the ball down and turns 180, all in mid air, then slams it down with 2 hands on the other side. Another good one is when he recives the ball up-court on a fastbreak in a game vs Denver. He is 1vs1 with his defender close to the basket. Takes one bounce, spins the ball around his back and does a 270 (or close to a 360) off one foot. Sweet...:two_thumb
can anyone get me a pic or movie of the dunk over yoa please? my favorite was when he dunk it on the denver guy where he was on his 35+ streak, very sick!

^^ haha true lol, but anyways my favorite dunk was the one against denver where he was 1 on 1 and he did the behind the back 360 dunk while his player was right in front of him . It looked weird because it seemed as if he hadnt gotten off the floor but it was one hell of a dunk.
