I liked Tracy Murray when he was with the Raptors. He was nice off the bench and he shot the three like no ones business. I don't know how effective he can be now
His best years are already over, and I doubt that after playing a mere seven games last season, Murray will still be effective. I think he'll ride the bench or get cut before the season even starts.
Just like mrj18 said, I see him collecting dust on the bench, I havent understood these recent signings by the New York Knicks, I just cant see any of these guys getting time, Tracy Murray being another one, but maybe he and along with others could surprise, but still somehow I dont think so.... Is there a possibility of us getting Chris Webber, at all?
With there still being concerns still out about Allan's Knee, this signing is just to have a insurance shooter on the roster because the Knicks dont have one if Houston goes down. Murray will probably spend most of the year on IR, and only be activated if Allan goes down, so for that reason I think its a solid pickup by the Knicks, nothing special tho..
Maybe Houston and Kurt Thomas for Webber and Christie? Just a thought I don't know if Sacremento will except that
They wouldnt give up Christie but they would give up Webber for Houston. At least if they still had Vlade they would. Which would would have been a great trade for them and a decent one for New York.
This is a good pick up. He was a pretty good bench player when he was with the Lakers, he has a great outside shot.
