<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Officially kicking off the 2004-05 season, the entire 76ers team gathered on Monday for the team?s annual Media Day. Front office personnel, coaching staff and the players met with the media to answer questions about the upcoming season.

Allen Iverson, Aaron McKie, and Head Coach Jim O?Brien took part in a press conference. The big topics for the day were the off-season trade of Eric Snow, the movement of Iverson to the point guard spot, and the new look of this year?s squad. Everyone expressed that they were going to miss Snow as a friend and leader, but also showed their optimism for the upcoming season.

?It?s like losing a brother, somebody who?s been around you so long,? McKie said of Snow?s departure.

The loss of Snow as the team?s starting point guard has opened up room for change in the Sixers depth chart. It is expected that Iverson will now take over the point guard position to lead a much more up-tempo offense.</div>

The Sixers Annual Media kicked off yesterday, but the pictures have yet to be released and unfortunately these are the two pictures I was able to dig up. However, when they are released I?ll try to post them here.

On another note, during the annual media day there was also press conference as well. It was conducted with Jim O'Brien, Allen Iverson and Aaron Mckie. To listen to them click one of the links below.
