The superstars led the way, as Lauren Jackson posted a game-high 27 points and Sue Bird dished a playoff-record 14 assists playing a day after undergoing surgery on her broken nose. The Storm also got huge contributions from Betty Lennox (16 points) and Sheri Sam (12 points, 10 rebounds) to win - for now - the biggest game in franchise history. The Storm visits the Connecticut Sun at 4:30 p.m. Friday in Game 1 of the WNBA Finals (ESPN2).</div>

I'm not really a WNBA fan, but I thought this was worth noting as they are basically our sister team. Well done girls, good luck for the Finals!

At least one Seattle basketball team is getting it done. It figures a local team makes the championship of a league I don't pay much attention to, rather than one that I do... COUGH Sonics, Seahawks, Mariners, Huskies, Zags COUGH. Good luck to the Storm though, I think they'll take out Connecticut if the Awesome Aussie stays healthy.
