They say he suffered a minor stroke from a bloodvessel dripping on the brain...he is doing ok and could be released from the hospital today...it wasn't life threatning (thank god) but it could be career threatening....but nothing is really being said up here about that aspect yet. Its too bad that something like that should happen to a great man like bruschi at only 31!!! I hope everything is alright.

I hate to make light of a serious situation, but i think this should be a sign that it is time to walk away from the game. Thats right, Tom Brady needs to walk away from the game before its too late. This should show him how short life is, and that he should spend his time in better pursuits like, well anything really.

you are real jerk, here is a guy that is dealing with a serious problem and your going to make a joke about it. bruschi is a great person and football player. grow up, Tom Brady isn't going to walk away from the game, and i don't think teddy will either. The last thing i saw about it, a doctor was saying that he will recover and it shouldn't affect his career. so don't worry he will be back next year to win another super bowl with Tom Brady....

i know the league wishes our boy brady would walk away but I think he'll be around long enough to hopefully get one more title...hey maybe lovie will be good enough to get your bears there so we can get some revenge :-)

but ya its terrible that such a good person could suffer from something like this at 31 years old...I just hope he is going to make a full recovery and doesn't do anythign stupid like come back to football too soon or when he just shouldn't at all. I mean he has three sons and I'm sure that is weighing heavily on him...

Just wanted to let the Pats fans know I am hoping for a full and speedy recovery from Bruschi. I guess that's life sometimes, but it's still sad. I hope he can play again; but I also hope he hangs it up if the Doc tells him he should.

I hear he's been released from the hospital, I hope he's alright, even though Im not a big Pat's fan Bruschi is one of my favorite Linebackers, pure class and very intense, I hope to see him on the field again next year, but if he has to hang it up atleast he's got 3 rings!

I think this is the end unfortunetly. He won three super bowl rings and i dont think he wants to take the risk.

yea it sucks that this has to happen to a great person and player. hopefully he can get back to the game so he can finally lose to the Jets. But you know if losing to the jets is too much trama for him he should hang it up. but seriously i hope he comes back hes the definition of class. but if the doctors arent sure, family comes first man. best of luck teddy
