Congradulations to LeBron and his longtime girlfriend, but I think he's a little young.

In a negative way.....Having a new born kid can effect lots of players, but most of the time, its in a positive way, making them more determine to win and play to their best of their ability.

LeBron can handle this I believe..he has gone through a lot of adversity through his HS years with people doubting him, saying he cant shoot well enough..granted raising a kid is nothing like that, I do think he is mature enough to handle this.

The Cavs are really going to need LeBron if they want to go far this year.

Yeah, I believe he is a bit young, but good for LeBron, I think he deserves to be a dad. His dad was never really there for him, and I hope he doesnt make the same mistakes.

Not to take anything away from this, how how many 19 year old girls want to have a child? There's probably some sort of fiscal motivation behind this, his "longtime GF" probably wanted this kid so she would be locked in with LeBron and his bank account for life.

I heard they want to name the baby "Cha-ching" [IMG].

    But anyways, congrats [IMG].

Maybe he used protection and the rubber just couldn't hold... I think it's common. But I believe more that they were ready to have a child so they decided to have one. It's cool I think LeBron can handle being a father.

Having a child is the beggining of a new life, literally as well as for the parents. Bron will now look at things at a different aspect because he is now a family man. Family men are the hardest working men on Earth, expect to see the best coming out of LeBron for he now has much more to work for.

Good luck to Baby Bron-Bron. I think he'll have a fairly good life. Considering the fact, that his father is THE NEXT MICHAEL JORDAN. Hopefully he isn't like his other father figures.

having a child at 19 is alot of work, believe me. I'm sure Lebron will do just fine, Money certainly helps and as a young dad he will have plenty of it. The girlfriend will have It really tough with Lebron on the road so much, I would imagine their familes will do more than their fair share of work though.

I was just thinking... This child could actually lead to an early retirement for Bron. Of course not anytime soon, but I feel he will give in the towel early after a few accomplishments to fill in for lost times for his son. Worth a thought.
