Stabler made some lists, but Plunket only made Beef's also ran list. Hmm. I guess that winning Super Bowls against the Eagles makes you over-rated. That explains the disdain for Brady. LOL. 8-2 post-season is pretty good, isn't it? I haven't had the time to review this site lately. "I'll be back."
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (nflfan04)</div><div class='quotemain'>so wiat... the lower hte #, the better?</div> yeah the lower number is better....the higher your ranking in a category, the lower your average will be and then when you subtract the Championships, it gives you a lower number to indicate success....
who said anything about that sucking? the system doesnt count how many titles games you went too, it counts how many you won as a starter....the system works, it assesses where a qb ranks in the history of the game based on throwing the football and then gives them bonuses for titles won....
ill explain the system again because there seems to be confusion....1st rank all the passers 1-75 in each of 5 statistical categories that were choosen for passer effeciency....the categories were yards, comp %, % of passes ending with TDs, % of passes ending in Int, and yards/att....when you get those 5 numbers, you add them up and divide by 5, that gives you an average ranking, in which the lower your number the better....subtract the total number of title the QB won as a starter and that gives you the CRI....the lower number, the better the Career Rating....
Or to be more true to the system, winning titles is less important than being good in the stats column. Seems to me that winning titles was a good thing. Then again, I'm a Marino fan and think that he was one of the top five all-time. I'm so confused.
No, the system puts mroe emphasis on titles than anything else, it makes them more important....for instance, take someone who was 1st in every category and won no titles, his CRI would be 1....someone who was 2nd in every category and won 2 titles would have a 0....each of the 5 categories counts for 20 % of the average, but the titles have the ability to move you a whole number lower....so the a title is equal to being one raniking better in every single category....
We made it using microsoft Excel....Id be glad to send the file to anyone that wants to play with it, you just need excel and you can take it right from an email.... by the way, BF1 never was happy with the way it turned out so he may make another version of it with different criteria....look for that soon, if he decides to do so....
