"I had a (private) cook bring me five or six meals a day. I told strength coach (Shaun Brown) that I wanted to be able to play at 255 this season, but I got carried away, I got up to 267," the personable Frenchman said with a laugh. "But it worked out really well. Now I just have to lose a few and get a flow in my game." </div>

So long Courtvision, havn't seen ya in a while.

Great news for Moiso, from the interviews I've seen/read for him this season, he looks more determined to establish his name in the league.

I hope he can still jump and move, and I hope he starts at center.

Yeah not smart of Moiso, 5 or 10 pounds would have been good, but 30 for an already solid guy is too much IMO. Hopefully he still has his athleticism.

well he plays in the nba it was definitly muscle no one would be dumb enough to gain 30 pounds of fat.
Anyways SLivingston he wasnt already solid...at 7 feet 230 pounds he was lanky as heck. He was like a SF playing Center. He needed a good 20 pounds on him but he got carried away. I think he'll be okay though i've always liked him, and he will be a good back up back up Center.
And as for Bosh he already gained 5 pounds of muscle this summer. He was really trying hard it just wouldnt come. But I think he'll be ok though. He's sort of a finesse player with his running and jumping. But he has some good post moves and very physical defense i like his future a lot.

Well it's nice to hear he put on some weight. He is in the final year of his contract and if he wants to continue playing in the NBA he's going to have to prove some things this year. Up to this point he has been very inconsistent and hopefully with a new coach and apparently a new body this could be his breakout year.

I'm going to go WAY OUT THERE and predict Moiso will play around 20-25 minutes a day and play so well this year the the Raptors will wonder why they even signed Loren Woods at all. [IMG]

I believe it is 30 pounds of fat. You dont gain muscles by eating 5-6 meals a day u knoe. He even said that he wants to lose some of the wait to get back into basketball shape. so u make ur own judgement

    <div class="quote_poster">Quoting Bobcats:</div><div class="quote_post">Was this fat or muscle?</div>

I haven't read the whole article but im assuming its muscle, especially when a trainer was involved.

I'm not sure how many of you are educated in the field of nutrition, but when you consume more calories than you burn off, and when exercise and weight training is involved, those extra calories are converted into muscle.

Good job to Moiso for putting on that weight, he knows that he will get no PF time so now with that added weight I wouldn't be surprised to see him with a lot of time logged at center.

Five or ten pounds? If you didn't know, your weight on average fluctuates about 5 pounds up or down daily due to what you consume and what is burned off, plus gaining ten pounds is very easy if you can eat right and weight train, considering that muscle is heavier than fat.

I can care less about him gaining weight. All I care is that he should gain focus on the court. How many times did he not anticpate a pass from a teammate? [IMG]

Agreed. Moiso seemed to drift off sometimes on the court, and appeared to play lazily. I think the biggest thing he needs to improve upon is intensity, not weight nor strength.

The whole point of him gaining weight was to help his abilities on court and to improve his game - they go hand in hand. Hes making a statement that he wants to play by putting on this weight, now he can play all of whatever time he gets at center with this added weight rather than switching from PF to C. He realizes that the PF spot is locked on this team so my bet is he'll try his best to log time at center.

Has a lot of talent, but the chances of him delivering on it are becoming smaller by the day.

Here's a pic of Moiso in practice...Hard to see his upper body with him holding the balls, and the view, but he does look bigger.

man im gettin tired of reading these uneducated stupid comments..

did u see the s h i t passes he was thrown .. my god.. the few games he played, i saw sparks .. we all know hes an athlete with potential... wat u guys refuse to see is that jus cuz hes not the better player its not his fault.. donyell.. rose.. jesus christ i saw donyell bounce passing to him wen he was 2 feet away in the post.. i saw rose whipping passes leading him directly under the basket.. wen he was already positioned to go straight up beside it.. i saw one time wen he missed a decent pass.. other than that.. i dont know what games u are watching.. i have every one on tape.. (except the detroit game where carter hit game winner to send to overtime then was blocked to lose the game) i was out of town
