Superstar Jason Kidd missed practice on Tuesday and the Nets are considering fining him. Full Story:http://www.nydailynews.com/sports/story/239486p-205491c.html
it is his fault...if he is under contract, then he has an obligation to the team, no matter what the circumstances...he should be fined, and if he's rehabbing his injury then the least he can do is still attend practice so he can still be informed of the team and what not...
It seems that only J-Rich is handling off-season issues well these days. No controversy their, but this, VC, Shaq, Kobe, B-Diddy etc... has been sturring up things fo sho.
dont forget t-mac, stephen jackson, al harrington and carlos lol i thought kidd was more mature then this...but i dont blame him for being pissed. he was told the team was building a contender, not REbuilding. having k-mart's ability to finnish on the break helps kidd's game...losing him must be a bit of a downer. none the less...he should still be a professional and go do his job
Well still, practice still counts. If practice didnt matter then no one would show up and then during a game they would be horrible. Even if you're somebody like Kobe, AI, LeBron etc, you still need a ton of practice. If I was in the NBA I would NEVER skip practice unless I had a damn good reason.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Chungster:</div><div class="quote_post">This isn't Kidd's fault. It's the Nets fault for dealting Martin and Kittles.</div> how can you say it isn't his fault? He is basically this teams leader. He is supposed to show his fellow Net teammates what it means to be a leader. Not coming to practice or being upset because a teammate was treaded shows he can't deal with it. And not dealing with the situation he is in (along with his teammates)is a problem.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting LeBron:</div><div class="quote_post">Well still, practice still counts. come on now, were talking about jason kidd, the nets management totally disembled the nets team that made it back to back years to the finals, if i was kidd i would be pissed too. he sees his dream of winning in new jersey fading away, hes acting the way i think he should. New Jersey trade him please!
this nets talk needs to stop because this season will be lost for them...does anyone know anything about the kurt thomas for wally szczerbiak trade, or has that died(which is good..)?
