"They're not looking out for our best interest and sooner or later I'm going to have to look out for my best interest," Magloire said after practice in suburban Westwego. "Until then, I'll continue to play hard and do what ever coach asks me to do." </div> Link? In conclusion, what about a Marion for Magloire deal? Comments? It's unlikly but I want to bring up the point being that the Suns have to sit either JJ, Marion, or Q.

However, i don't feel that its a equal trade. Marion is a better player than Magloire.
Marion brings as much to the table as Maglorie does and more.Even though the Suns realluy need a C,right now trading Marion isdnt the best idea.Even though Marion is in the West he only averaged a rebound less the Maglorie. At this point the Suns should try trading JJ or Q right now,and not Marion.Espically not a trade like this,Marion is worth players like Corey Maggette or maybe even VC.
If the Hornets want any chance at contending in the West, they will not trade Magloire. He's one of the few effective Centers in the league, and the Hornets will be fools to let him go, unless they're having a firesale. <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">At this point the Suns should try trading JJ or Q right now,and not Marion.Espically not a trade like this,Marion is worth players like Corey Maggette or maybe even VC.</div> Q can't be traded until December, and it will be completely dumb to trade someone you just signed to a 6 year deal, and then trade him away.

We would have to trade Marion for a center, trading him for a player like Maggz would just be putting JJ or Q on the bench, which is the problem we are trying to solve by trading Marion. A big man always has more value then a guard, and is a lot harder to get, so your not going to get a superstar center for Marion. Maglorie for Marion would probably make the most sense with the salerys and Maglorie wanting out of New Orleans. Also like Banks said, Q cannot be traded until December and anyway why would the Suns sign Q to a huge deal just to trade him, it makes no sense. The Suns are trying to give JJ an extension and why would they sign Q to trade him, then the odd-man out IMO is Marion, UNLESS the Suns go to a smaller lineup which would have Marion at PF, unliky tho.
I am not saying trade him for one of those players.Just a player with that kind of talent, because thats what Marion is worth.
