There was an article on espn about Kaman, and it said something interesting....

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Coach Mike Dunleavy said Kaman will spend more time on the floor this season.

The coach projects his starting front line to be Kaman, Chris Wilcox and Elton Brand.</div>

So that would mean Maggette moves to the 2, and Kittles moves to the bench. I'm not sure how concrete that lineup is, but what do u guys think? Good idea? Bad idea?

I think it's about time they gave Chris Wilcoz some PT. Now I'm not saying this lineup i better than having Kittles in it, but it's nice to finally see Wilcox get his chance to prove what he can do. I don't think this will last though, IMO Wilcox won't play at his full potential at the 3 spot, but we'll see.

Bad idea. Who's gonna play small forward out of that bunch? Brand? That frontcourt would consist of three power forwards who have no outside touch, and cannot drive into the lanes. I'd rather the Clippers play Maggette at small forward and have Kittles on the floor to draw some of the defense away from the paint.

Well they could do that lineup but I am with Trip, you cant have 3 PF's starting in your frontline, they would have no finese and not much mid-range game.

They would be better off starting Maggz and Elton Brand at their natural positions with Kaman at C,the only reason Coach Dunleavy should think about starting Brand at SF and Wilcox and PF with Maggs at SG,is because of Kerry Kittles current injury status.

If it happens I see Wilcox playing the SF spot as opposed to Brand, but it will be one of them at the SF, and Kaman at C. Wilcox isn't Marcus Haislip though, I don't see him being able to play the SF spot.

I like the idea because Wilcox will get PT, but apart from that, I don't know.

Well, Kittles is hurt right now, so it's either Wilcox or Simmons.

Anybody know how long Kittles is out?

I hope it's not long, but OT, anyone see Maggette's 14-14 from the line, that was a thing of beauty [IMG]

think of the potential lineup of Livingston, Maggette (or Simmons), Wilcox (or Simmons), Brand, Kamen. The lineup is tall, athletic, and can play D.

Why would Simmons start over Maggette of Wilcox?

Anyways, Jaric would be starting, not Livingston, and if would be Jaric [PG], Maggette [SG], Wilcox and Brand [PF and SF], and Kaman [C].
