<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">The congestion on 31st St. early Sunday night was caused not by delays at the Lincoln Tunnel but by a lean rookie who is making Isiah Thomas look smarter by the day.

An hour earlier, Trevor Ariza had used the Knicks' open practice at the Garden to show fans the skills that have impressed his coaches and surprised his teammates. Athletic, quick and explosive, Ariza seems to spend most of his court time hovering above the rim.

His game resonates with fans, which would explain why 30 people surrounded Ariza's SUV as he tried to exit a parking garage.

All I can say about Ariza is wow. He's going to be great. Ive seen very few players that always go to the basket with the sole intention of dunking. All he needs to do is have Houston help him out with his jumpshot and the Knicks will be set for the future.

Man, I should shut my big mouth sometimes. This guy is really starting to look like a possible starter. Some of his dunks are off the charts, but still a little raw though.
