Vince running the break caught a pass from jalen rose and finished with a monster throw down on dalembert of the 76ers.. i have only seen one angle of this dunk.. it looked good.. but average .. compared to his others.. chuck claimed that he jumped extremely high and that it was one of his top 5 dunks ever?? whoa is he over stating that or did he actually get up that high? the angle i saw was kind of diagonal up so u cannot see the elevation he got.. <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Pardon me, but I'm still trying to catch my breath after Vince Carter's sick, wicked and nasty posterizing dunk on Samuel Dalembert Sunday in London. I have called every one of Carter's jams in the NBA and, in my book, that ranks in the top five without question. He soared way above the rim. Dalembert had no choice. None. The crowd went nuts. The Raps bench went crazy. All Philly coach Jim O'Brien could do was call a time out to regain his team's composure. </div> Full story http://www.nba.com/raptors/news/swirsky_041020.html
chuck does to much blow to even know what hes talking about. I do not know how such a shameless man can respect himself.
hmm I havent seen the dunk but I know Chuch over egsaturates (spelling?) alot. Does anyone happen to have a clip or something?
Its not only Chuck that thinks its a top 5 (excluding the dunk heard round the world and 2000 Dunk Contest). Doug Smith, Eric Smith and Paul Jones all believe the same. It was pretty sick...He jumped from way out, and the fact that he dunked it on Dalembert, made it more sick.
i saw it once on the score, it was pretty sick , but it happened way too fast for me to see what had really happened, but he took off from pretty far andslamed it on dalembert and spun off the rim ... hafn't seen alot of these the last 3 seasons. it kinda reminded me of the dunk he had on timduncan 2 seasons ago
I saw a clip of it, I looked at it over and over, he got up HIGH. His head was almost touching the rim.
I have to disagree with Swirsky about Vince's top 5 career dunks. That's nowhere near the top 5; more like top 20. 5. Dunk over Ben 4. Dunk on Duncan 3. Dunk on Theo Ratliff (then-'Sixer) 2. Dunk over Chris Mullin 1. Dunk on Mutombo

That's number two to me beside the Mutumbo dunk. Carters 360 Dunk in Transistion, going from one hand to two hands, in Dallas in the 1999-200 Has to be 3rd on my list.
Is this one of those Dunks where we can never get any video of? Like the "handgliding" picture in 2000 that was photo of the year....no video...
here's the vid of it. <a href="http://myweb.hinet.net/home14/micro41728/VConDALEMBERT.wmv" target="_blank">http://myweb.hinet.net/home14/micro41728/VConDALEMBERT.wmv </a>
Oooh I'd heard a lot about this dunk, it lived up to the hype but there's no way in hell that's top 5. What is Chuck thinking? It's a sweet dunk but top 5? Common. Oh wait, Chuck's the same person that hyped so much about that awkward left-handed dunk on Kirelinko. Am I the only one that thought that dunk was mediocre at best, even though it was left handed and Vince is right-handed?
HOLY ....C.R.A.P....i only seen it once and thot it was pretty nice, but after looking at it over and over...wow
If I see it from another angle....it might be one of his top 10 best dunks...probably number 10. its really fun to watch
Oooh Baby that was not a top 5 dunk but it was nice. Just one of the best dunks he has done in the past year and a half I guess.
