    - Vince Carter of course, just everything.. whether he'll be traded.. who he slams on, etc...

    - Bosh's development

    - hate to say it, but i think i smell a big UPSET in aroujo...

    - Rafer alston running the point as a starter, bringing his game up another level from last years preformance

    - I dont think Jalen rose will play the whole season.. Just a gut feeling..

    - Moiso and Woods, battle for the starting spot at center

    - Donyell maybe coming off the bench ?? that would be a big push wen vince needs a break

    - Mo pete driving more often? he definitely should as he is a decent foul shooter (gonna make a big impression this season)

    - The new tactics of Sam Mitchell.. see if vince can thrive in his new style of play

    - The whole atlantic divison will be interesting.. a bunch of mediocre teams.. it go many ways..

    - Milt palacio... he has shown glimpses of potential when he dropped the occasion 19 point game.. his shot is terrible there is no denying his release is very odd.. he can ge tto the hoop tho... hopefully he can excel more with the new style of play

    anything i miss?

I wouldn't waste my time watching Milt. He drives me insane! Is he ever under control? Sure he's fast, but you have to know how to play fast if that is what your game style is going to be. He makes terrible decisions with the ball and I'm not sure of the actual stat, but it seems like he turns the ball over ALOT!

Hmm, I am not sold that Araujo is a bust. Centers take awhile to make in impact in the NBA.
Erick Dampier is entering his 9th season and only last year did he have a break out year!!
This is Samual Dalembert's line in his rookie year
    PHI 34 G 0 GS 5.2 MPG .440 FG% .000 3PT% .389 FT% .70 OFF 1.30 DEF 2.00 REB .1 APG .18 SPG .38 BPG .41 TPG .90 PF 1.5 PPG
Even Jamaal Magloire first yr only averaged 4 Reb and 4.6 PPG in 14.8 MPG
Brad Miller, 12.3 MPG 3.1 RPG 6.3 PPG

Araujo has a great, BIG body. In the game against Benetton, I think he played very well from what on I saw on the Raptors game in an hour. He shows good hustle, great strength and a great work ethic. It is just a matter of time.

Don't forget, he came from Brazil to the U.S, no knowing how to speak english and with no money in his pocket to learn to play basketball. Also he was the arguablly the 2nd best center in the NCAA last next to Okafor. Ya gotta give that he is determined.

If he does as well as Magloire, or Dalembert, or Dampier, or Miller in his rookie year as they did, one thing is for certain.......we will have NO idea how he will be in 3-4 years.

    Give the kid a chance

I agree about Araujo. The only downside is that Raps management was saying he could step in and contribute this year. After watching the 76ers game in TO live, I can honestly tell you that he was lost on the court. Granted it was his first game action he had seen, but he looked like a deer in headlights. Maybe in 2 years he'll put up some decent numbers, but the game is so fast to him at the NBA level that he just picks up fouls because he isn't able to get into position defensively. After a year or two, he should catch on and get comfortable. I hope it's sooner, but realistically I doubt it.

Things to look out for: Hoffa

We could of simply drafted Jameer Nelson so Alvin Williams can be useless while Alston wouldn't be signed. Oh well, Hoffa better prove that he's a better player than Nelson.

So what if he was an ex-janitor? Who are you to judge what kind of a player and person Aroujo is based on his past career? It wasn't even a full time job for god's sakes. Put yourself in his shoes and ask yourself what the hell you're going to do when you don't have jacksquat (maybe like $10 in change) in your pocket and you don't have anyone to help you out. And what do you mean "his height is overrated" that doesn't make sense at all. Are you trying to say they lied in measuring Aroujo's height at 6'11"?
