I would say that's reasonable. I don't think the Heat can beat the top 3 teams on a regular basis, even with Shaq. Wade and Shaq will do alot of damage together though.

Yea any team built around Shaq should be one of the best teams in the leauge. I don't agree with the Pistons being number 1 though, I beleive the T-Wolves should be the number 1.

Funny, but true. I don't know what ESPN is basing these rankings on, but if it's preseason performance, the Rockets blew the Heat out by ten and are seventh. Power rankings are total BS to me.

Who wins pre-season games don't matter at all and shouldn't be factored in when deciding power rankings. Any team that has a dominating force like Shaq will always be in the top 5, he is just that good. Power rankings at this stage are done by what Is on paper so It's really not unreasonable to have Miami in the top 5.

I still think the Pacers are better then the Heat. But it does look reasonable I would have to agree that they are at least 5th IMO.

Yea, thats a good spot to be in for the Heat. Shaq does make a difference on the team. hopefully they will get better throughout the year and learn to play as a team efficently. good things will happen

I definitely think the T-Wolves should in the top 2 teams even though there were knocked out last season against LA. A "Healthy" Timberwolves team this year and they could be looking at their first ever Finals and a solid chance at winning them.

Definite good spot to be in for them.

Yea i agree that the wolves should be in the top two, because now they have the expeirnce of the playoffs and are able to be healthy all year, they are going to be a threat to deal with.

Why? The Pistons are the world champs, they deserve the first spot.
