Davis, the 6-foot-8 240-pounder who was the Continental Basketball Association's MVP last season, hasn't guaranteed himself any regular-season playing time. But the fact that he could still wiggle his way into the Sixers' rotation is an indication of how much he has impressed O'Brien since training camp opened. </div> Link I`m not really sure about having Josh Davis in starting rotation, it seems like he doesn`t know what hes doing on the court. However, it seems like he has a nice shooting touch.
At the game last night when I saw Josh Davis come out as a starter, I almost fell out of my seat laughing.
Josh Davis is a great player but there is no way that he will be starting, they are just doing this to see if they want to keep him or not by giving him floor time. Just look at what Van Gundy did by sitting Juwan and TMac last night. I also think JD should definitely be on the roster, because his is a tough player that can help us with outside shooting. But he definitely needs to work on his decision making on the court.
Thats to risky imo, usually players from other leauges dont come in and make much of an impact.I know I wouldnt trust him starting. Espically he would probabaly be starting over Glenn Robinson or Kenny Thomas, and I dont really think thats a bright idea. But hey,you have to give the guy credit for even being talked about starting, most of us thought he wouldnt make the team.
Josh Davis is a decent player, but he lacks experience and court awareness. i think he will be a sub, coz O'brien wouldn't be dumb enuff to start him. Glenn robinson is definately a much better choice than him and so is kenny thomas. <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">At the game last night when I saw Josh Davis come out as a starter, I almost fell out of my seat laughing.</div> i got the feeling u wanted kyle korver to start
Kenny Thomas was out with an injury so he couldn't start, Williamson is undersized at 6'7" so I guess the only person that can fill the PF roll (besides Skinner) would be Davis. I didn't know who he was at first

Not someone like Josh Davis. Half the people at the game didn't even know who the hell he was.

lol that is a weird lineup. But I would`nt be suprised if O`Brien had multipal lineups throughout the season.

JO is trying the decide whether he is worth signing because he probably see potential.
