I really want to know how the whole team is doing but particularly Nick Van Exel, Telfair, and Qyntel Woods. I check stats on nba.com but you know what they say, stats dont tell everything. A little summary of whats going on so far would help us fans that cant watch the preaseason games because we're not in Oregon. Thanks

Ive listened to a couple games on radio and saw some highlights. Zach has been doing great. Miles and shareef have been solid as well. Derek Anderson finally looks healthy. Damons not done too much. Qyntel Woods...well...we all know whats going on with him. Van Exel has been coming off the bench and giving a lot of "mental toughness" to the blazers. He seems like he will be the leader of the bench squad. Hes not been shooting well but he has been making a lot of nice plays and being a great backup for Damon. Telfair has been a fan favorite. In the blowout against the Bobcats, Telfair made some crazy passes but unfortuantely the Blazers have to decidce weather to develop Telfairs skills or make the playoffs. Were going for the playoffs so we wont see much of him this season.

OHHHH did I mention Ratliff?? Man, he is doing so good so far as well. He blocked one of Vince's dunks and has been Defensive Player of the Year material so far.

In conclusion, I think Portland will make the playoffs this year. We've got loads of talent and good chemistry.

Thanks for the summary of the preaseason. Im a huge fan of theo ratliff and im glad to hear that hes doin well. I think if they do make the playoffs, van exel will have to be a huge spark off the bench just like he was in dallas. i aslo dont think telfair will get too many minutes(maybe kind of like darko in that he wont get minutes and everyone will say hes a bust..) im looking forward to a good season for the blazers this yr tho. thanks again

I think Van Exel will be starting by mid-season. Damon has the shot but so far he hasnt been doing much like Maxa has said. Van Exel is a solid player with experience...but we'll see

i think that damon will hold his spot down for the season. but Van Exel will start a few games. its just that Nick said that he dosnt think he can play more than 25-30 minutes any more. he will do what he did on the mavs a couple years ago though. i think that DA is going to have a break out season the way he's been playing latley. and at this rate i think that Richie Fram will be subbing in for DA. The coaches say that he is the best shooter in practice and now he just has to show it in the games.Ive also been impressed with Joel Przybilla. i think he will beat Vladimir Stepania for the back-up center. if Van Exel cant play a few games Sebastian Telfair will do great in his place with his passing.Reef and Randolph are doing great. they both seem to be scoring evenly. i would just rather have Darius playing the sf instead of reef. Cause Darius is an energy guy and should get every one pumped up at the start. Travis Outlaw i think is definitly going to play way more minuter than last year because he has been hustling in the games. Theo rattlif. 2004-2005 nba first defensive team and first of second place defensive player award. Damon is doing evenly on scoring and passing. in the last game he had a double double with 10 points and 10 assists. thats about all. the Blazers definatley have a chance at the playoffs.
