I see you nabbed James and Stojakovic, which are both fair picks around that area.

If this is a roto league, you have some major problems. You've got only one starting C (Dampier) and only one starting PG (Atkins). The only other C I see on your squad is Nene, and he's behind both Camby and Martin at this point in the season, and he never was a true shotblocker. And the only other PG I see on your roster is Jackson, who is a great scorer and 3-point shooter but will have low assist numbers (career averages about 2.5; above average starting PGs averages about 6.0, more than double that). Thus, you're going to have major trouble keeping up in blocks and assists.

Rebounds are a problem as well. Your forwards will average about 5-7 a game each which is very low; and as noted before, you only have one C. Thus, you'll be stuck in the middle of the pack here at best, even without having good point guards (which is usually the reason rebounds are low).

On the bright side, you're probably going to be near the top of your league in three point attempts and points, and pretty fair in steals.

I'd try to trade some of your scoring for other categories, aiming for either a top tier C or PG.

That team is actually pretty good considering the last spot in 20 teams, although after Joe Smith, you're really hoping for someone to step it up from their expected contributions. I really don't expect Hoiberg to repeat his last season with Sczerbiak healthy this season and clamoring for minutes, and Booth is a career underachiever. And rookies, well you never know about those crazy guys. I like Mihm and Delfino, who I expect to have at least some contributions this season, though.

thanks zhone for your assesment. Its actually head to head. and kenny thomas averaged a double double last year with 11 ppg and 10 boards. he's a unknown IMO as far as rebounds.

nba.com playerfile says: "One of 11 players in the NBA to average a double-double in 2003-04, and at 6-foot-7, was the shortest player to average a double-double."

I'm not too worried about rebounds, but now that you mentioned assists, I kind of need a big year for some guys, or huge SCORING numbers from many guys.

Lebron has stated he's going to try to average a triple double in his commericals so maybe those "dreams" can come true for me.

I would recommend trading Antoine Walker to someone in your league who doesn't know very much about basketball.

LOL. you really think he's gonna do that bad? Im just concerned with TO's and a bad fg%. what are your thoughts on him?

I know the team sucks but he could still put up 22 ppg, and 9 boards on a team like that.

Keep 'Toine. If you can suck up his bad %'s, he is an excellent fantasy player.
