Kirk Hinrich's 35 point performance was amazing. It was a shame to see Larry Hughes knock him while he was going towards the basket though. Whether Hughes doesn't like white people or he was upset by how badly Hinrich was tearing apart the Wizards defense, Hughes should have been given a much harsher punishment than he was given. Anyway, that's a bit off topic. I agree with you. Hinrich is unlikely to slump.

i highly doubt what he did has anything to with racial animosity. it was simply he was going to score and Hughes was going to stop him anyway he could.

Well Darko Milicic was a good one, give the kid a break aight? He barely played and he broke his hand. Melo is too good to have a soph slump, I think more than anybody it's Udonis Haslem. The arrival of Shaq means more inside and outside game for Miami. While D-Wade will probably get all those open shots from outside, the inside zone's all Shaq's. How will he be able to adjust? He could be another Shaq's weak four player, following the paths of Robert Horry, AC Green, Horace Grant, Mark Madsen, and Samaki Walker.

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Silky Smooth:</div><div class="quote_post">This has happened to many players, recently we can say Dajuan Wagner and Caron Butler had sophmore slumps.I remeber both of them having pretty good rookie years but they hjust didnt play well as 2nd year players.</div>

Caron's sophmore slump was totally attributed to being injured for almost the entire first half of last season.
