I have been proposed a trade, and I am really not sure. My instinct says yes, because Kobe should dominate. But, I have to give away two All-Stars in return, if enough of you that know what your talking about say yes/no, that will be my final decision.

Trade Offer: I recieve, Kobe Bryant, Shareef-Abdur-Rahim, and Primo Brezec. I send away, Michael Redd, Zydranus Ilgauskas, and Juan Howard.

Your oppinion will be very helpful!

I think i would do it...

    Kobe will be a stud
Reef will be a solid 2 or 3 FWD
Brezec, maybe put him on ur bench to backup ur other center

    Redd - Solid 2 G
Ilgauskas - #1 C, but injury bug might hit again????
Juwan - Fading, but OK #3 or #4 Fwd

Tough Decision but I would do it...depending on who your other players are, and if you have guys you can stash away on your bench.

Sounds like a good deal to me.

With Brezec and Reef you are making up the difference losing Iglauskas and Howard. And Kobe gives you the full monty in stats. He'll score, shoot the three, steal the ball, rebound about 4-5 a game, and get about 4-5 assists as well. This is definitely a good deal.

And if Reef gets traded to another team during the season like he is supposed to this trade will be even sweeter because then he would move back to the 4 spot.

    yes, do it

    why? because:

    1. Kobe = the whole team. Odom & Co. are just there for the ride.
    2. Shareef is starting @ SF this year over D-Miles. Only problem is they are gonna split time. try and get someone else instead. if not, he'll be ok on the bench
    3. Brezec is on Charlotte. Charlotte is starting him. Charlotte thinks highly of him. Starting, thinks highly of = playing time. playing time = production. production = numbers. numbers = filling up stat sheet. -- Filling up stat sheet = Good.

    ------------------------------------------

Juwan Howard aint gonna produce like he used to. He now has T-Mac, Jimmy Jackson, Yao Ming, Mo Taylor and other scoring options. His scoring average will probably drop and his minutes will go down since Mo Taylor does play a lot of minutes.

But just try and get someone else instead of Shareef.

[IMG] Not being sure to accept that trade or not is a joke. You're getting Kobe Bryant, think about that

Who else is on your team?

Can u afford to lose 200 blocks from ZI? I think its a good deal if u can absorb that loss. Other than that, there is nothing to really consider because u get kobe

I agree with drunkenelmo's and G-Unit's assessments. Blocks are the thing that will most drastically change; at minimum a swing of 100 blocks. You also lose a few threes and rebounds but gain overall points and assists. It's pretty even, it just depends what your needs are.

No way would I do this. Kobe will have great numbers, but...

I would say that the difference between what Z and Juwan will put up and the numbers that Shareef and Brezec will far outweigh the difference between Kobe and Redd's numbers. Now, that's assuming that all 3 of the players that you either have now, or will be getting, will be starters on your team.

If one of the 3 will end up being a bench guy, then I would do it.

Well, I did it. I was thinking about this, I am losing Redd, but I still have Glibert Arenas on my team, he can take Redd stat wise.
