<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">The Magic finished 21-61, with a team-record 19 straight early losses. Weisbrod expressed concern over a lack of effort by the players. He took a parting shot at the league's leading scorer after the trade, implying McGrady wasn't capable of leading a winning team.

"When you say things like (Weisbrod) said, that's just covering (yourself)," McGrady said. "I hated losing, but it just got to the point where we were losing so much, you kind of get used to it.

"Going into games, it was like 'Oh, we're going to lose, so let's just get it over with.' That's how the mentality was with a lot of guys, not just me."</div>

Note to both of them: Shut up.

I think McGrady's true colors have been exposed - long ago.. and now everyone is just straight up sick of this. When he was asked in an interview if he still cares about Orlando his exact words were "**** no" [IMG]

Well that's tracy for you, he;s on a new winning team now and just left Orlando in the dust of his mind, but you're right Ice both of them need to just close it and get on with their jobs, Weisbrod made a complete turnaround of the team and needs to focus on that and the future rather then the past, Tracy had a chance to do something with the team as a leader and blew and is on a new team and conference and should worry about them and their future. That's my opinion on the subject.

It's all media hype. Same case with Kobe and Shaq.

    More hype=more viewers=more profits.

This is one of the reasons I despise Tracy Mcgrady as a person.

I really dont understand what Tracy is saying. He acts like he has been playing on the Hawks for the past few years. The Magic have been in the playoffs three years in a row before last season, they just got kicked out of the first round every year.

Tracy McGrady is a great player, but he's a fool. Instead of choosing to be part of one of the best duo's in this Generation (Carter and T-Mac), he chose to become a superstar in Orlando. That got him superstardum but on a losing team. Now after 4 years, he finally decided that he wanted to win. Looks like he has things right in Houston, but he should just shut up.

I don't really blame Tracy for wanting to leave Toronto that year. If you remember, Toronto didn't even make any moves to want to sign Tracy to a long-term extension, until the last few months when he was already set on leaving. Besides, being with Carter, I doubt that he would be at a level higher than Vince right now, and at most would be just a 18ppg scorer.

T-Mac and the Rockets got hammered last night. I didn't catch the game because of the election ( [IMG] ) but looking at the box score everything made sense. I know this is only the first game, but many of us were predicting what would happen with T-Mac and the Rockets: Tmac taking alot more shots than Yao and the Rockets losing in the process.

Whoa wait a sec there, slow down now. I'm not any kind of T-Mac fan but I needed something to do while I watied for the Nuggets/Lakers game. T-Mac was passing the ball to Yao and the rest of his teammates. On several occasions I remember him passing to maurice tayler on the block it seemed as if taylor had a few isolations setup for him I don't know why but that's how it was. And Yao just plain sucked last night his performance was ridiculus and thats why T-mac had to shoot so much.

Well welcome the franchise, the same cry baby, fool and loser to your new team. Steve cried as much in houston as tmac in orlando. As i can recall, the franchise didnt even want to go to the magics. Cuttino was about to bawl on national news. Hopefully you got enough day cares to take care of them

Exaclty. The only reason tmac is scoring and havin to shoot so much is that every time he feeds other people the ball. There not making it. Period. Yao is restless, he gots lesser hops then a block of wood.

Tmac isnt the only superstar in a slump right now. Kobe is even struggling now that he has noneone around him to support him(what tmac had last season) Yes , he dropped thirty or so points again utah, did they win? no, he even got blocked by ak47, and against the spurs now he just got blocked. Where are the hate post about vc complaning or peja or even a.i...all great players, all have their own voice.
