Does anyone know the status of giving Dalembert a contract extension.I think the dead line for an extension is at the end of this week, and I remember King mentioning it in an article or something.

Also with Sammy D coming off the bench,do you think this will tarnish the chances of signing him to an extension? Also with this supposedly being his breakout year, will he be able to breakout coming off the bench?

I thought they were going to sign him next season? Or is that John Salmons...?

Your probably thinking Salmons(then again im not too sure mahself, lol). Well, I don't think Dalembert is the type that would be mad about not starting. He's probably gonna get plenty of PT anyway.

Yeah I heard on CSN that they were going to deal with Sammy D`s contract situation at the end of the season.

    Here we go:

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">President/general manager Billy King confirmed that the Sixers would pick up the fourth-year option on John Salmons' rookie contract, but would almost certainly wait until after July 1 to discuss a new deal for Samuel Dalembert. By the rules of the collective bargaining agreement, those deals would have to be done by the end of business tomorrow, or wait until the summer; the Sixers will make a necessary qualifying offer to Dalembert so that he will be a restricted free agent.
