Given that you'll never give an inch, not worth the effort of arguing/discussing the issue.</div>

Hey, the same could be said about you holding your opinions about the issue. [IMG]

It's fine for me to agree to disagree though.

I was wondering what that signing was about because I think the Custodian signing was before the Battier contract extension, so naturally I assumed battier was out or Mike Miller was out. Right now Memphis does have too many swing players. But if Battier was out of the picture you'd love Cardinal because he's actually quite underrated in a lot of areas and he'll do the little things for his team and give all his energy to make up for his lack of quickness. If you give him an open look he'll bury it, if he doesn't have a clean look and he's bigger than the other guy, he'll post up, he'll also pump fake and try to drive and get fouled. He's automatic from the line. He's a bit like Eduardo Najera and Maddog Madsen but with all around shooting skills. But yeah I can understand why he's such a rough fit in Memphis, it's like Detroit and Washington not finding anything for him under their systems.

Well, I was in attendance at the game last night, and Brian Cardinal played great. He was Mr. Hustle. I take back everything I said about him, because while everyone else had a bad game, he was bringing it all. He even outplayed Shane Battier. There were five or six occasions where he completely sacrificed his body for the team.

As for positioning, he played Power Forward. However, that's only because Humphrey is on the Injured Reserve and Outlaw was cut. Oddly enough, he looks more natural at Power Forward than he did at Small Forward. Size doesn't really matter unless you are going up against guys like Shaq, but he was going up against Michael Ruffin so that wasn't an issue. It will be interesting to see if he can still perform the way he did against bigger competition.
