I can't wait to watch the game tonight, even though it's pre-season, it's nationally televised. Not to mention, it is against the defending Champs!

Well should be interesting I havent seen the Wolves play yet this preseason, not that I really need too. I plus pretty much everyone that folllowed the Wolves last year already knows what they are about. Usually the starters play more minutes in the last preseason game, so we shall see how much the big 3 plays, if at all. Spree hasnt played much this preason. Sammy hasnt played that many minutes either. And KG didnt play at all last game.If the big 3 doesnt play or plays very little this game will get boring fast.

I went to the game on wed. and without KG or Spree in the lineup the game pretty much sucked. Kandi looked better then he did last year so that was encouraging, and Wally and Sammy were scoring at will pretty much and Hassell was playing mad D, but it couldn't salvage the game without KG.
Sam and Spree both did not play tonight. What's up with the new hair dues with Hudson and Spree? It's going to take some time before I get adjusted to it. First half, we went on a surge and really came back into this game. We were down by as much as 13 in the first half, came back, and ended up having a not so bad half. Griffin looked solid out there and I hope he can actually settle down and play some ball. He has had trouble over the past couple seasons with a lot of personal stuff.
They played the last 8 minutes or so without any of the big three and still were about to hold on to their lead, although it got kindy shaky at times. Hudson & Hoiberg made some big 3s to give the Wolves the lead and to hold on to the lead. Hassell played good D as always, he was a little more aggressive then he normally is, which is very good for us I believe. Kandi wasn't butterfingers today, played good interior D, got some rebounds and scored some points. Eddie Griffin looked really good, a lot better then I expected him to be. He could get 10-8-2(blocks) a game I think. KG, Griffin & Kandi could be a destructive trio on D. I'm excited for the season now
Well...I'm upset that we don't have Griffin. I knew he'd be doing well...hopefully, for Minnesota, he doesn't get into more trouble, but I'm sure he'll stay out of it. Good luck Minny. The team looks pretty strong...but my Lakers are going to give you a run for your money (believe it or not).

The way Kandi & Griffin played yesterday against the Wallaces, Tayshaun, and McDyess it looks like the Wolves have seriously improved in the only area holding them back last year, play in the paint by someone other then KG. With Spree & Sammy put into the lineup for scoring purposes, the Wolves will be deadly. And although it was a preseason game, you could tell that both teams wanted to win. Rip got ejected, 'Sheed got a T. KG & both Wallaces all were fighting over the same ball on the floor. It didn't seem like a preseason game.

I saw that game. Kg hardley played half a game plus spree and cassell didn't play and the Pistons lost. I know the season hasn't started yet but the Pistons haven't looked like the defending champs yet.

Garnett played like 33 minutes thats more than half a game. Pistons didn't take very well last year either and finished strong, infact the past 3 NBA champions have started of slow.
