13 points on 5-7 shooting, 5 assists, 2 blocks, 2 steals in 25 minutes (thus far).

If we can get that kind of line during the regular season it will go a long way to us not sucking.

All those in favour of us not sucking? Aye...

Seriously though, I remember a couple of times in his rookie year (games against NY and Dallas spring to mind) where Luke was able to rack up stats across the board in a short period of time. He has a long way to go yet, but he couldn't have done this at a better time with the season opener the next game on the agenda.

It looks like Luke will start just because he has a better rapport with Ray than anybody else.

Ray had 32 points, while Reggie Evans is probably the hot tip to start at the four on opening night now after some good performances, despite arguably being third in line before pre-season.

Ridnour's final stat line was 14 points, four boards, six assists, two steals, two blocks, two turnovers and three fouls in 36 minutes. Considering the minutes he played and the fact he was guarding Telfair for periods, three fouls is a nice number.

Ridnour is a great future player,he and Collison or Evans could be a great 1-2 punch in the future. This year could be his year as Rashard is out and Ridnour can shoot more.

Luke was a great draft pick I was surprised he wasnt selected earlier in the draft, Luke is going to earn the starting spot at PG sometime but does Ray play SG??

Ray exclusively plays SG. I would start Ridnour, i like his potential a lot.

Hopefully this will give him the confidence to perform well when the lights are turned on for real. I'm anxious to see his improvements.

Spot on. Hopfully no one is under any illusions that one pre-season performance automatically means he's in for a big year, but it should do something for his confidence and it's come at a good time, with the season opener only days away.
