But to break down the game on the 76ers end, I was very pleased with Iverson running the point. He was setting up his teammates nicely and got some good shots for himself. However, most importantly I was happy with the team shot selection and ball movement. Their ball movement was what led to those great looks. A lot of people question their ability to knock down the perimeter shot on a consistent basis?even me but if they continue to move the ball around like that, it will be that much easier for them. But at times they relied on the perimeter a little too much and should have gone to the basket instead, but overall they took some decent shots and shared the ball well with one another. I was also pleased with their defense. However, they broke down on defense way too many times and didn?t give help on the weak side. Other than that it was pretty solid. Now even though holding a team to 95 PPG is not that defensively impressive, remember that Paul Pierce was on the fire and when Pierce is on defense doesn?t matter. Not to mention, we also had 33 bench points courtesy of Willie Green and Kyle Korver and some others. Oh well I guess. I like that comment Iverson said to Obie....Handing him the gameball and sayin theres more to come....I hope thats true and I hope that we all might be able to see Allen Iverson show out this year like he did in 2001...Wouldnt that be great! :thumbsup:
