<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">With Eddie Robinson on the verge of a buyout by from the Bulls for the final two years of his Chicago contract, the Chicago Tribune is reporting the Heat has expressed an interest in offering the 6-foot-9 small forward a non-guaranteed contract. With 15 players, the NBA maximum, still under contract, the Heat would have to make a roster move before such a signing. NBA rosters must be trimmed to 12 active players and three on the injured list by 6 p.m. Monday, the same day Chicago is are expected to complete its buyout of Robinson, 28, who has battled injuries since joining the Bulls as a free agent in 2001.</div> http://www.sun-sentinel.com/sports/basketb...fla-sports-heat
Robinson could be a great scorer to have on a team. He can come in and score 10 points in a hurry, and his athleticism will no doubt make him a fan favorite. He will be a good guy to have on the end of the bench, although his defense really needs work. Also, he is very injury-prone.
Eddie Robinson imo fits alot better with last years version of the Heat then this year's version. Last year when they were playing alot more in the open court. This year they will play alot more out of the post with Shaq in the middle meaning the players that are really going to succeed in this style are going to be the players that can consistently knock down the open perimeter jumpshot, guys like Damon Jones & Wesley Person are really going to fit nice as complentary parts. Iam not to sure what Eddie robinson would bring to the table that the heat dont already have... they have their slashers & cutters away from the ball already in guys like D.Wade & Eddie Jones.
Eddie Robinson would be a great addition to the Heat and probably have a big part in there success if he comes here, at SF he would probably be starting over Rasual Butler, the Heat would have a great starting lineup if everyone can stay injury free. Heres my predicted Starting Line if Eddie Robinson comes into town. PG- Dwyane Wade SG- Eddie Jones SF- Eddie Robinson PF- Udonis Haslem C- SHAQUILLE O'NEAL

He can hit the mid-range jumper and is athletic, but outside shooting is definately not his thing, he'll be a ogod pickup for the team though as that's a hole in the lineup, but Rasual isn't too bad.
Why not just trade that scrub Wade for him, he's no good. Robinson's leaps and bounds better. <font size="1">Yes, this is a joke.</font>
