The good news is that Larry Ellison looked into buying the Warriors, the bad news is that Cohan said he wasn't selling. For those of you that don't know, Ellison is sort of the bay area's answer to Mark Cuban. He's the multi-billionaire, co-founder and CEO of Oracle and he's been looking to buy a major sports franchise for awhile. The bad news is that it looks like Ellison would prefer to own a football team. He first tried to buy the 49ers and he's now looking at starting a new NFL franchise in LA. But, I don't think the NFL will be expanding anytime soon, so I think Ellison's only chance to get a team in LA is to buy an existing team and move them there. Here's the link for anyone who wants it. Man, my heart skipped a beat when I saw the headlines. I'd love for Cohan to sell the team and Ellison looks like the perfect guy to take it over. He's loaded (net worth of about $50 BILLION), he's a bay area guy, and from what I've read, he'd be even more outspoken than Cuban. If you want to get any more info on Ellison, here's a link short bio on him. WARNING: read at your own risk, when you finish, you'll be demanding that Cohan sell the team to him.
Ellison is a great guy, he's successful, smart, very competitive, but also a friendly person. I really wish something happens to change Cohan's mind.
This guy sounds like he would be a great owner in the bay, anything is better than Cohan. Having a Mark Cuban type owner would be a dream come true.

He also was looking into the 49ers Franchise as well.now imagine the possibillties he could have done with them Elison would have been THE Choice for the Warriors to turn around.i'd blame Cohan for this blunder.
Too bad sports franchises can't be like the election. I'd vote Cohan out of office so Ellison could take his place. Cohan's ego is bigger than his brains if he won't sell the darn team.
