The 6-5, 215-pound guard was selected by Milwaukee with the 43rd overall pick in the 2003 NBA Draft but was traded to Orlando on draft night. Bogans started 36 games and his production increased to 8.0 points, 5.0 rebounds and 1.8 assists in those contests.</div> Bobcats Acquire Guard Keith Bogans From Orlando
Wow. Didn't see this coming. Good trade for the Bobcats. Hunter has a lot of talent but Bogans fits in well with the team's philosophy. I believe the Bobcats got the better half of the deal. Hunter will most likely end up on IR to start the season for Orlando. Although, I can see why Orlando made this trade since they are pretty stacked at the 2-3 spot. Still, I can't believe they gave up talent like Bogans. Anyone believe Bogans will be a starter opening night? Brezec Okafor Wallace Bogans Knight I'd say that's a pretty good starting lineup for an expansion team.
I'd take Bogans over Kapono any day. Good scorer and tough defender. Until Kapono play's some D, I'd take Bogans.
I'd think the 'Cats got a steal in this trade. Bogans is a very good player. He can do it all. Shoot, play good defense, and he's got length and athleticism to top it off. I'm thinking he probably will end up starting on opening day.
The trade probably came off because Orlando didn't have a real spot for Bogans and wanted to be nice to him, instead of stashing him on the IR or trading him. I think Bogans appreciates the gesture.
