As far as my knowledge goes Kwame Brown was not extended...I hope this does not turn around and bight them in the butt when he is a FA. The Wizards have lost many big men that have blossomed into fine players (Chris Webber, Ben Wallace)...I believe this will be the same case. They should of extended him, because they will have to pay him more now if they are going to match an offer. Any feelings on this?
This wasn't a good decision by the Wiz, maybe they have something planned, like trading him or something. So they can't extend it any more? They just have to wait until he's a free agent? Kwame will put up nice numbers this year, and will continue to grow. If he isn't back here next season, that will be a major loss.
