It's rather odd that the talk was them fighting for the 3rd spot in the point guard rotation now neither are on the main roster. I think It has more to do with DC stating he refuses to go on the IR than anything else. Of course none of that was said for the reason Parker and Jenkins are on the injured list but I would imagine thats why they are there.

watching jenkins and parker in the preseason, i would have rather we tried to find a veteran PG. jenkins never looked like he was ready to play and parker, while athletic and a scorer, didn't look real comfortable running the offense.

I would've rather had Smush Parker as the backup PG than Jenkins any day, Smush isnt/wasnt a half bad player on the Cavaliers and now he's not too bad either from what I've seen. Jenkins hasnt surprised me but he has come to a point where his results are considerably lower than I expected.

Stat-wise, Parker really had a monster preseason. However, his lack of point guard skills and lack of height to play shooting guard always proves his downfall. Still, you'd expect at least a roster spot for a guy who was at the top half of the team in scoring every preseason game.
