Are we excited about tonights NBA Season Opener tonight?

I Sure am,and we have a good matchup tonight.I Can't wait to see what will occur between these 2 teams, and i'm hoping like the election outcome with Kerry winning of couse we will see the Kings win this matchup.

If we are going to win tonights game,we must play better than our Pre-Season games, and start to Shoot and Defend the ball better.

    So Lets Go Kings

Anybody have their thoughts on this game?

    Nice preview. [IMG]

I see the Mavericks taking this one. Sorry. The Kings have a depleted roster, and the Mavs just have too much depth at every position except center to lose. Although Sacramento did win last year's playoff series, it seems to me that Dallas now have more depth and an upper hand. Besides, it seems to me too that Dallas always beats Sacramento in the regular season.

Even though they were defeated, one guy that's really impressed me tonight. Matt Barnes. He showed he can score inside and outside. He's got a couple of 3's. he had 17 points on 7/10 shooting, 9 boards, 4 assists, a block and a steal. Nice game.

I didn't know Ostertag was supposed to play to night. Oh well, he sure had one impressive debut: 10mins, 0 pts on 0-1 from the floor, 1 rebound, 0 assists, 0 steals, 1 foul. Impressive. I still can't believe that this was the person that the Kings decided to throw thier free agent money at. Peja sure proved that he was an all star 39mins, 3-15 shooting for 12 points with ZERO FOR SEVEN 3PTS!!! Does anybody know why Maurice Evans started? I hope that things will start to take a turn for the better when Doug Christie gets back.

Well i didn't see any of the game because i don't live in the Sacramento Area, but from what i read,it wasn't that bad of a game at all.

The Kings played better than i thought they would, and looked like they had som signs of life,as Matt Barnes looked impressive, and Webber looked like he had some juice in him.

Overall it wasn't a bad game despite the Loss.but i do see the Kings improving over the season, and when Christie Gets back in action, things will go up from here.

while Christie was out, bibby, stojakovic and jackson had off nights and ostertag was in still recovering from a broken hand (which was his own fault) Miller and Webber both had a good night, evans was not a factor, but matt barns sure had a great opening night for someone that never had a lock on making the team in the first place.

having said that. the loss comes down to one thing:
    defense
