<div class="quote_poster">Quoting CourtKing:</div><div class="quote_post">Probably something involing Mashburn if I had a guess, both players are getting paid a ton. I don't see any other deal possible with the Hornets, maybe PJ Brown, but Mash for Robinson would be pretty even, if we can get 2 or 3 more good years out of Mash it would be great. Hopefully it would include Chris Anderson or JR Smith, unlikly though.</div> Mashburn is out for the season, and plus when he gets back he probably won't be as effective. Why would Billy King trade lil dog for another player who's injuried AND has a horrible contract.
Just found this info, "Needing some kind of spark to ignite their winless team, the New Orleans Hornets soon will trade for disgruntled Philadelphia forward Glenn Robinson. Robinson has yet to play this season and new coach Jim O'Brien doesn't even want him on the roster because of his questionable attitude and unwillingness to play defense. The Hornets need someone to help take the scoring load off of Baron Davis. And "Big Dog'' Robinson won't be shy about getting up shots." Florida Today
I really can't see how a trade with New Orleans would work they don't have much of anything on there roster after u get past Davis an Magloire an u know they won't trade them. Doubt they would trade PJ an would he fit with in the up tempo 3 point game. Then u have two young guys in West an Smith who the Hornets prolly don't want to trade. So where is the talent for us?
