McDyess was called for a foul while going for a rebound with 5:51 left in the second quarter. As he walked downcourt, he dropped the basketball, kicked it and was ejected. </div>

This was an bad start for him,$5000 isn't big money for him cause he has millions.
Maybe he was so posessed with that Detroit "Bad Boys" image and needed to do something. [IMG] These kind of things happen all the time so Im not wondering about it.

That was stupid, and i saw what he did, he deserved to be fined and ejected. Why would you do that over such an unjust thing. It's a foul, let it be...

McDyess was going to punt it, but actually let the ball go when he realized that the refs were watching. Then there was a timeout, and he thought the refs were looking away, so he kicked that ball with all his might. Too bad a ref saw it though, I think McDyess wouldn't have done it had he known the ref was watching.

Very lucky to have avoided a suspension.

It was totally stupid for what he did. I could see getting a technical on anything else but kicking the ball into the stands? What was he thinking?

At least he still cares about the game. Thats the bright side. It was kind of funny seeing him kick the ball into the stands though. Although I'm not a Pistons fan so I dont really care if he gets ejected.
