Sportscenter had an interview with Shaq before the game and he made a few comments I thought were interesting. He said he dropped the weight because Pat Riley told him to, it wasn't for himself it was for Pat Riley. He also said that when Christmas approaches and ESPN and TNT started hyping up the Lakers-Heat game he would start saying things to hype it up more. I don't think he should bring up old dirt on Kobe and start the feud all over again. What are your opinions on these comments? Also just bringing something up Mike Wilbon and Tony Kornheiser agree that the Heat have the best chance to make it to the finals and win the 04-05 championship. Also what are your predictions to Shaq's debut if he does/doesn't play? I think he will play and lead the Heat to win with somewhere between 20-30 point, 10-15 reb and 5-10 assists. What are your opinions on this?
I hope he doesnt hype it more that no. That game in december is gonna be more hyped than any other game in NBA history. I dont think that the Miami will win this year. Make the playoffs, sure why not. They have a great team but dont think the championship is going to Miami. Most likely a West team.
I am actually looking forward to hearing Shaq talk some mess, and then backing it up. Kobe will probably take the "high road" and claim that his game will do the talking. Then he'll score 1,000,000 or so points, only to lose because the Heat shared the ball with each other. I just want to see the fight, that's all I really care about. Christmas food, presents, and a big NBA game. What more could a guy ask for. Does anyone know what other teams play that day? I hope it's a double header.
So far Shaq being traded to Miami was a good thing.Shaq just manhandled the Nets like Fat People going at it at a All-you-can-eat-buffet.

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting yanix:</div><div class="quote_post">^ ho hum... another cheap shot at kobe. this is getting old...</div> Yeah, just let it go from now on. No credibility, no importance. Heat fans just have to depend on his health. If Shaq stays healthy, the Heat will win more games...but if he goes down, I don't see them winning hardly anything, and that's unfortunate for guys like Eddie Jones and Damon Jones, who I actually hoped would be successful this season.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting yanix:</div><div class="quote_post">^ ho hum... another cheap shot at kobe. this is getting old...</div> It is getting old but it's true. Shaq did slaughter the Nets. I'm watching the heat play the Caveliers right now. He's having a great game. I think the Heat will win it to.
Shaq's playing excellent. I'm happy for him, he seems to be enjoying this for now, not to mention D-Wade is finally getting the credit/recognition he deserves. Miami is steam rolling past the Cavs right now (I haven't checked the score recently but Miami was leading). Only concern I have with Miami is regarding when Shaq is on the bench. When they face the elite teams in the West, depth is going to be a problem. However, let's worry about that later cause Shaq is killin the East right now.
