Better yet.. he plays PG, SG & SF.....Rank the top 41 @ each position then have a discussion on who u prefer to be on the court. I'm sure we could rank JRose @ 75 based on our preferences. Cocky? Perhaps, but displaying confidence in one's self shouldn't be borderline cockiness.
og15 - not a bad list. and i guess you're right. but i gotta say that there are a few players you've got there that are rated way off. first i dont think T-mac should be 5th, but i'll let that one slide. secondly, there is no way in hell that Bibby is 7th, not a chance. Dirk should be alot better than 12th. carter's better than bibby, nash, finley, b wallace and probably brand..thought that's a tough one cause bigs are hard to find. and the big one is AK47 is a TON better than 20th. I'd put him anywhere from 4th to 7th...but no higher. other than that i like it
Their's no ranking, I was just putting players as I remembered them, that's why some players on same teams are next to each other, or with Dirk, Nash and Finley, the big 3, or Rip, Sheed and Billups, has nothing to do with rank
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting og15:</div><div class="quote_post">Their's no ranking, I was just putting players as I remembered them, that's why some players on same teams are next to each other, or with Dirk, Nash and Finley, the big 3, or Rip, Sheed and Billups, has nothing to do with rank </div> i think u might have to revise your list and put bosh beside carter on it.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Trip:</div><div class="quote_post">Marbury and Cassell being lower than Andre Miller? That doesn't make any sense.</div> He didn't rank them in order.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Trip:</div><div class="quote_post">Marbury and Cassell being lower than Andre Miller? That doesn't make any sense.</div> that whole list doesnt make sense. the guy is clearly an idiot. he ranked dampier ahead of vince, arenas, chancey (finals mvp!?!?), bibby, francis, brad miller, andre miller...you gotta be kidding me. damp has had one decent season. DECENT. it wasnt an amazing season. and if he's going by that one season alone...why is he ahead of chauncey? he had a tremendous year. then he's got carlos boozer at 29 ahead of amare and zach randolph...who are both 20/10 guys...but he's got elton brand at 11! wtf?? then he put lebron at number 10!!!! come ON now!? number 10? lebron hasnt proved ANYTHING yet. certainly doesnt deserve to be ahead of, iverson, kidd, or pierce. the list is a complete joke
^calm down dude he said they weren't in order anyways i hope vince does good this year because he is a Tarheel and he is on my fantasy team.
yeea man, read the discussion before you insult someone. He already said it wasn't a ranking, just a list.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting R_ChutneY:</div><div class="quote_post">yeea man, read the discussion before you insult someone. He already said it wasn't a ranking, just a list.</div> first of all, i was talking about the list put together by the guy writing for the sporting news. NOT og15's list secondly, the list put together buy the guy from the sporting news DID put the players in order and if you would take your own advice and read the discussion, after reading my post, you'd realize that i cant be talkin about og15's list since lebron isnt at number 10, brand is and its in bold letters, and dampier isnt even on it and i think og15 is a cool cat, so id never call him an idiot
Although I'm a Raptor fan and live near Toronto, I'd say Carters not a top 15 player. Top 20-25 yes. He hasn't proven anything to me yet since he caught the injury bug... really. Also the 1st 2 games of this season, he kinda looks lost. And frustrated. Maybe it's just me.
^ Jim Jackson and Tayshaun Prince. Enough said. Also, he may not be scoring, but he's playing defense, getting rebounds, and passing the ball.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting dj_premium_plus:</div><div class="quote_post">you think tayshaun and JJ are better then vince??</div> Hell no. I'm saying those 2 are good defender's, thats why Carter hasn't been able to score that much.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Bobcats:</div><div class="quote_post">Hell no. I'm saying those 2 are good defender's, thats why Carter hasn't been able to score that much.</div> ok good lol. JJ is an ok defender though. prince is a hell of a defender though. but i just think it has more to do with the style of ball the raps are playing. very team oriented. its not just iso vince over and over again. i expect him to have a big game tomorrow though.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting mrj18:</div><div class="quote_post">I don't know why Baron Davis is not on that list...</div> Thanks, I did the list first them my computer game me on of those stupid explorer errors, and the second time I put everyone and couldn't find player no.50, so I think I put Mobley or Big Cat because I couldn't remember Baron, but you get what I mean, hopefully....
41st???.....that's very demeaning.. what i want to know is what factors did he based these from??? stats, wins, contract, fame....i mean in all of the facets i mentioned (except wins maybe), we have vince in the top 20s...if its dunking, in the top 5 f not the top himself...game-winning shots, top 10....jersey sales, i think top 20 if not, top 10... maybe its based upon something carter looks bad at...injury proneness, "softness" or exteamate's comments....
