<div class="quote_poster">Quoting YaoMing03-04:</div><div class="quote_post">Funny how things change. I remember last summer when the trade was first mentioned almost all Orlando fans said Steve Francis was a cancer, but now every one loves him. I think the Frnachise is going to have a huge year in Orlando, but its stupid of him to take shots at T-Mac. T-Mac never had as talented a team as The Magic have now. Top through bottom and if G Hill is healthy watch out.</div> I must admit, you're right there. We didn't like Francis at first, but it was because of his reaction to the trade, he said he doesn't want to play for the Magic. That's basically why we didn't like him. But after Weisbrod talked with Francis, it was all settled and Francis was convinced that it's going to be a complete new team and nothing would be like it was 2003-2004. And now, well I don't particularly like Francis, but I definetly like the new Magic as a whole team much better than last year!
When Francis got here people were concerned about his turnovers and his comments on not wanting to be here. Now that he is here and has shown us a little bit of what he can do, I like him a lot. Steve is more of a team player than Tracy McGrady was and it is showing this year. Francis also hasen't had to carry the load because players such as Grant Hill, Hedo Turkoglu, and Dwight Howard are playing well. I think this is the year that the Magic go to the playoffs and make it to the 2nd or 3rd round. With the way they are playing and the teams they are beating, they could surprise a lot of people this year.
I say that right now Steve could be the MVP. I know everyone says Billups, but the way Franchise is playing, he could be. Everybody who is a magic fan is loving this trade right now.
Don't kid yourselves. TMac is much more valueable then Steve Francis. Look at the team the Magic had last year and compare it to the depth the Magic posess now. Grant Hill was a superstar and now is back as a potential superstar and a solid veteran. Cuttino Mobeley is a solid starter. Kelvin Cato is a solid center. Hedo Turkgolu is an excellent shooter off the bench. Dwight Howard is a star in the making. And I didn't even mention Steve Francis. Now compare that to Tmac's team from last year. I hate Tmac as a person because he is the ultimate form of contradiction and cockyness. He is cocky to the point where he makes HIMSELF look like a fool. But you put Mcgrady with the lineup that the Magic have this year and I'm pretty sure their record would be 6-1 or something along those lines.

He has been posting career lows in multiple categories, and last night, he shot 20% from the field. I know you guys are excited about winning after last year, but don't get carried away.
