I'm no eye specialist, but I wouldn't risk him playing with an eye like that. Another poke to the eye could really do some damage, and having him out short term is better than having him out potentially long term. Curtis Borcahrdt has been playing well recently, he and Jarron Collins could pick up the slack.

I could not agree more. But we now see why he was missing those passes and letting them bounce off of his head. I just hope his vision will be all right after the redness goes away.

Thats some nasty stuff, but yea like most people said its better to have him out Short Term than Long Term, hopefully this will lead to Humphries and Borchardt getting more minutes.

I think I'm about to throw up. That is just nasty, and sickening. I didn't see how he got it. What in the hell did he do, or let happen to him?

He got poked in the eye by Carlos Boozer during practise jsut before the season started. It was completely accidental.

He's played with the injury, so he's not really out but is playing limited minutes, and having limited efficiency.

    I can barely look!

That is sick, and I too wouldn't risk playing him.

that is quite possibly the nastiest looking eye ive ever seen. i cant believe it! its good for okur because he can freak defenders out. i wouldnt want him guarding me or the other way 'round.

The eye is one of the fastest healing tissues in the body. The mouth also heals quickly. Still, as everyone has said, they should wait a bit until it drains all out.
