i want vince to stay....he'll be alright

but if we did trade him.....i'd be content with magloire and maybe mashburn to make the contracts match.

thats what im sayin. vince and donyell for magloire, mash and a 1st rounder. sounds like a deal to me!

but your a lot more optimisitc about vince then i am bro. he's taking a frightening amount of ugly jumpers and they arent going down...if he was showing signs of at least being the same vince from last season i might not be so worried, but he's just shooting. and they arent going in lol

^maybe not donyell....i like him. But if its a first rounder.......eh....i might do it.

at very least magloire and mash for vince....its a win win. get rid of magloires salary since he's probably done his career, and also get rid of magloire, who's not playing well and isnt all that happy with the hornets. They pick up someone that can score...and create his own shot....something they are sorely lacking other than b-diddy. and also someone that "used" to be a fan favorite....maybe a change of scenery will bring him back to old form. Either way vince could still average 20-5-5 with the hornets...and thats not bad.

trust me man...im as big a donyell fas as there is...but he's a free agent at the end of the season, and raps cant afford to keep him, so if we throw him into the pot that sweetens the deal and helps get us something else in return like a first rounder. better to get somethin in return then nothing

totally agree on the vince front too. change of scenery must be what he needs. im sure mag would LOVE it in toronto. playing in front of his home crowd...in the east. id love the look of a raps front court that had big cat, cb4 and jalen. if we bought out alvin's contract, and had a couple of first rounders, the rebuild process would be in full swing with a huge headstart considering 3 positions (prolly the most important positions) pg, pf and C would be set. throw an extension at bosh too

Bottom line: VInce at Clips: 21 points, 5 rebs, 1 steal, 2 assists, another loss , 9-24 shooting, only 2 freethrows
Pros: Vince got his first good dunk of the year. He had a classic Vince game last year, where he is hot, then cools off to the extreme.
Cons: Not dunking at some opportunities where he can easily do it, for eg, an airball on a two foot layup (dunk that), on a rebound he missed twice (elton Brand can't sutff u on a dunk, no one can). When hes cold he keeps throwing em up, he has enough quickness still to get to the line. Vince needs to play smart. If it was Kevin coaching, yesterday Vince would have got 30 points, on crappy shooting.

he said it was his first "good" dunk of the season and i agree. the seattle one was pretty crappy still with all the room he had.

Against Denver haaha: Another sub 20 performance: 14 points shitty rebs, shitty assists, a steal, a block, crappy at the line, 5-15 another loss.
The goods: Went to the line more than once.
The cons: Everything else, including percentage at the line. This guy definately ain't acting like a franchise player. I feel like slapping him in the face. He messed up by passing it to Bonner in the clutch. He didn't catch the Andre Miller pass to Martin, he didn't move to get the ball back. Arrr. How much longer Vince.

man, he isnt doing anything for his team. Before, 14 points was like a big shock and everyone was like yo man, vince just got 14 points thats rare. now, whenever i see a single digit or under 20 points, im always like yo man, vince had another 14 point game. Next game hes gonna go crazy with 20 points.

Against Seattle: Pros: 21 points back to back. Went to the line. Nice dunk, he gotup there.
Cons: Another loss for the raptors, and Vicne disappeared in the fourth.
Against San Antonio: After predicting 25 points for Vince today, I was way off. The only thing he did that was good, the usual one block, one steal.
The bad: Four points, barely any rebounds, or assists, no freethrows. His team was much better without him, and they even came back from a twenty point deficit.

It seems that whenever VC puts up decent point totals the team plays badly and loses. Haven't actually looked into it though.

Thats not true. UI'll break it down for his whole career. All these stats are excluding this year. Cuz i was too lazy to add it in.
Games scoring 0-19 (118 total), 41-77. Games scoring 20-29 (173) 94-79 . Games scoring 30-39 (75) 46-29. Games scoring 40+ 14 tiems (10-4) . Total games 380, 191-189 . Carter before this season was considered a winner in terms of his career. You can argue that he was a franchise player, cuz as he does good his record is better.

If its this year, he is 0-2 when scoring 20-24, 1-0 when scoring 25-30. 4-4 when scoring 0-19.

The thing is when he is shooting 50%+ , they are a perfect 2-0.

Make that 2-1. The raptors lose against Washington today because of Vince's lack of courage during the last 3 minutes of the game. He was clearly dominated by his bro-in law. At the stripe he was terrible like usual. But this was still one of his best efforts. He collected 25points and a season high 9 rebounds. He finally shot the ball well, but if he didn't go down like a bitch in the second quarter i think we would have won. Raptor fans in Toronto shouldn't boo him. I've noticed it a lot, Carter is not like others who thrive when the fans are hating on him. He thrives when the fans are with him.

^ Went down like a bitch? He got socked in the face by Hughes. I'd bet you wouldn't get up right away would you? Anyways, this might've been Vince's best game of the season IMO. He looked pretty good tonight.

Except for the last couple of jumpers he took - fadeaways as usual. If Alston didn't jack up the couple of threes during last couple of minutes and turn the ball over twice, we would've won the game. Injury bugs are starting to bite the Raps, as Donyell Marshall is still out with the sprained hamstring and now Rose is out too with bruised thigh. Tonight's the game that counts though, can the Raps win in the back end of a back-to-back series?
