I just want to remind everyone whos already worried that We got ourselves a totally new team. 10 out of 15 players are new, leaving only 2 starters from last year. This team needs time to start clicking. Plus the week spent in China didnt give the rockets much practice. You can't really tell when this team is going to be ready but we just gotta wait till it does. We may struggle in the upcoming games playing memphis, kings, memphis, and minnesota in the next four games. So if you want the rockets to start playing better cheer your asses off when they come home saturday. We gotta make it tough for teams to play in our house.
True I always knew we were gonna struggle but it seems we're just playing really sloppy basketball, and thats just a matter of not focusing hard enough...
I2emix, you gotta be more serious in your posting you know. I've seen that exact same post twice, and we demand quality posts here on JBB. I can see room for improvement, please try to add more thought to your posts in the future. Thanks.

K let's get back to topic.
You got several guys who played together from previous seasons, but that doesn't really mean they have the chemistry which is one of the most important things. Lue, Howard, and Tmac are all good (or) decent players, but they just can't click on the court. Oh well, I'll just thank you for giving us Steve Francis. He's Orlando's Mr. Clutch now after hitting 2 straight game winners. Has McGrady done that.. EVER?

Under Van Gundy's Rockets, Francis is a very annoying player. Under the new magic, he's a bright star. congrats for you guys.

He didnt fit into this championship team and we needed a brighter star and thats why we gave him to yall, good luck. You have to remember that MJ the great didnt always make his game winning shots.
Im happy to see Stevie Be More Successful now, because if stevie stayed in houston he wouldnt have a chance to be the great player that i think he'll become now in orlando.

Steve didn't fit into Van Gundy's system, but hopefully McGrady will. He'd make a better duo with Yao Ming as well because his game differs from Francis. The only thing McGrady needs to realize is now he's the second option because Yao is their future (Much like Shaq was in the Kobe/Shaq era). I hope McGrady develops clutch play, because that would be the final thing left in making him a great player. As for Francis - I think this trade was the best thing for him. He's been given the green light and can finally play his style of basketball. It wouldn't shock me if he had career highs this season because of this.
Actually Ice, Francis has been playing his style of basketball for four seasons before Yao came. And he also had Mobley and Cato alongside him. However, how did our teams go? At best, they were perennial playoff contenders. That'll probably be the same thing with the Magic.
Nah, Francis will do exactly what he's been doing in the 4 years before Yao in Houston. He basically was an all-star with pretty numbers in every categories (including TOs and missed FGM). Now don't get me wrong, I love Francis, he's one of my fav players, but he's what I like to call a confused all-star guard like Iverson. He's too small to play the SG, too athletic to play the PG, and basically in a nutshell, Francis is a Slashing SG/SF a la Vince Carter trapped in a 6'0 frame. He will wow you with alot of his plays, but I can guarantee you that he will take Orlando right into the playoffs and out in the first round. Guarantee. I'll even put $ down on this. Francis/Mobley will not take Orlando Magic anywhere further than where Tmac already did on his own. Anyways, back to the issue at hand. I think we're starting to work out well
One thing that I think we'll still have to work on is our clutch execution. Last night, Chris Webber almost scored on us in the last minute of the 4th quarter, and McGrady slipped, passing the ball to Lue, who promptly missed the shot. We were lucky last night, there will be no guarantee that we will be that lucky again.
I think the execution will be okay......the rockets showed a lot of character the other night, I like that
