I belleive that the Magic will win by double digits. The star of the game for the "Bobcats" will be Emeka Okafor. The Star of the game for the "Magic" will be Steve Francis.
Nice preview. I'm going to pick an upset here and go with the Bobcats. They were great against Washington, and just fell away at the end, and I think a big home crowd will get them over the line here. Okafor on Howard should be fascinating to watch, also. Bobcats by six.
I don't smell an upset here, but the Bobcats will make it close. Okafor has been the real deal so far, but I think the Bobcats are going to have problems matching up with Grant Hill in this game. Gerald Wallace is a nice player, but he's a poor defender and is terrible at holding onto the ball. He's forcing it, too much with his new role as the main scorer for the Bobcats. I think he's a year away from adjusting and growing into the role, and Grant Hill is going to exploit his inexperience in this game. I also don't like the Kapono and Mobley matchup for the Bobcats. Mobley is, too fast for him and will be very aggressive on offense with Kapono guarding him. I predict Mobley will go for 25+ in this game and Orlando will win by 8.
Too bad most of you are wrong... UPSETTT wow what a game. Brezec 20 and 10, Walalce 18 and 10, Jason Hart 14 and 11.... Bobcats stellar game.
This really Suprised me!! Below are some stats of the games and more. <div align="center">TEAM STATISTICS </div> <div align="center">Bobcats</div> <div align="center">Fast Break Pts: 5</div> <div align="center">Points in the Paint: 44</div> <div align="center">Magic</div> <div align="center">Fast Break Pts: 12</div> <div align="center">Points in the Paint: 30</div> I think the "Points in the Paint" really mad the difference in the outcome of the game. This is the first victory in "Bobcats" history  . <div align="center">Player of the Game</div> <div align="center"> </div> <div align="center">He lead the "Bobcats" in scoring and helped the "Bobcats" to there first victory in history of this team.</div>
Primoz Brezec and Jason Hart came up big, Gerald Wallace's performance was great as well. I thought the Magic would take it but I was proved wrong. Hopefully the Bobcats can have a successfull first season in the NBA and Jason Hart, Gerald Wallace, Brezec, and Okafor will take them there if anyone and I got a question didnt they acquire Keith Bogans? If so why isnt he playing he's a great defensive player and not too bad offensively.
<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Gerald Wallace is a nice player, but he's a poor defender and is terrible at holding onto the ball.</div> You must have not seen Wallace's game lately. He's certainly improved on the defensive end. His 3 steals in the 3rd quarter were key to the Bobcats going up by 22 points. He plays his hardest and hustles for every loose ball. An expansion team up by 22 points? Who would have ever imagined that? I think the critics predicting the Bobcats to be the worst team in the history of the NBA need to re-evaluate this team. They are likely to win at least 25-30 games. And where's the guy who told me the Bobcats screwed up when they traded Drobnjak, that they had no one to replace him? The Bobcats knew what they were doing, having Primoz Brezec. I wonder why this guy didn't get any playing time for Indiana... About Bogans... I heard that he would miss the first 4 or 5 games of the season. We'll surely see him playing soon enough. Adding Bogans will surely make the Bobcats that much better. I wonder who will replace him on IR... Hopefully Knight's injury isn't serious. Knight fell awkward on his left hand during the 2nd half.
Brezec is really emerging as a very good player. If he keeps this up, he could be considered one of the best centers in the Eastern Conference. Personally, i expect the Bobcats to go 22-60 this year. Just my opinion though.
i belive brezec will be the best bobcats player in this season and i also think thaz bobcats will have around 30 wins in season
Congrats to the Bobcats on getting their first win. <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">You must have not seen Wallace's game lately. He makes a lot of mistakes, and relies on his athleticism to make up for it. Wallace has not learned to force his player into difficult shots, he's reactionary instead of putting pressure on his opponent and leading him toward the double teams.
