    Brandon's Analysis
The Lakers and Hawks are both coming off losses in this game, where the Lakers are pushed to focus on rebounding and defending the paint...while the Hawks need to focus on everything, from scoring and their offensive sets, to defending every square inch of the court.

The Lakers will have to watch for Walker, who can get hot from beyond the arc, and Kevin Willis, who's been a surprise in the paint. However, with Walker playing more around the perimeter, the Lakers should have no problem pulling defensive rebounds in this game, and should take off for the fast break and run this team all game long.

The Hawks have Childress in hopes to contain Kobe, while putting Harrington on Butler and Walker on Odom. Huge advantages for the Lakers...so the Hawks may have to resort to a zone defense if they want to hold the Lakers under 100 points.

    Brandon's Prediction
Not a very hard prediction...the Lakers have this one by 21 points, 111-90.

I hope so man lets finish the week on a good not and head for the road stretch ahead of us. I have a good feeling we can win the next six games if we play the way we played friday which wasnt our best so thats a good sign.

I think the Lakers will own this game. One of the easier games this month for them

I hope Lakers win it but you never know, Kobe could go shooting 2-22 like Iverson did last year if I'm not mistaken and Lamar could have a horrible game. But Lets hope for the best, My prediction is that Lamar has a big game 24 points 13 boards and 3 dimes, Kobe has the usual 30, 5, and 5 and every one else has a good game. 101-94 Lakers.

an easy game for the lakers if they play well with less than 20 turnovers. they should focus on rebounding in this game so that they can go out and run the fastbreaks.

I have been looking at the Lakers schedule over the next week and a half and the toughest team looks like Grizzlies, i think they could make a run and pump there record up to 6-2,7-2.

And to note on top of that the grizzlies are playing horrible right now.

I had no idea they were playing the Hawks. Well my last prediction is a pretty safe bet that they will even out their record. Don't wanna ginx them or anything but I believe they will come in focused and come out with the W.

I would've said less, but I believe that Rudy T will keep in a few of the starters for most of the game just so they can have some extra playing time together (if they are already up by 20+).

21 is definately not too much, Atlanta sucks, but I'd say Lakers by 15, because the bench players will come in, and Atlanta could chip of 6 points in that time [IMG]

the key to the game is lamar containing antoine. if he does that, this game is EASILY ours. i dont think we'll win by 21 maybe 10, like theclown1 said. lets hope the lakers dont take ATL too easily tho because i definately wouldn't want to see them upset us.

stang_08, refrain from double posting, please.

Also, Josh Childress is a twig. He hasn't done anything yet, preseason or regular season, to prove to me that he was worth picking up so high in the draft. If he gets in the way of Kobe, it'll be nasty.

In fact, Childress will be burned by Caron, also.

<font color="Purple">Back to the topic though.

i think and hope lakers win this game. if lakers could play just like the game in against denver or the 2nd half game against spurs, then this will be a blowout.

Lakers should try to limit walker but dont understimate players like harrington and childress.

at the end of the game well be 2-2.
